Sis aside from mga kakilala, if I may suggest, check out mo yung car lots ng banks, yung mga hinatak na nila from owner. Sabi ng dad and friends ko usually okay condition ng mga ganun na cars eh.

Okay din if hindi mo kilala yung may ari, check mo if more than 1 are car nila. Kasi siyempre pag more than 1, mas may chance na less use yung isa sa mga kotse.

Or check out the different car club forums. These guys take care of their cars more than their gf's. So rest assured they are in tip top shape. hehe

hi sis! i bought a 2nd hand car na mitsubishi glxi 95 from tsikotyehey. Ok sya i got it for 120. 150 nung una nya benta, then nagpost sya uli 135, we closed the deal for 120. March 2008 ko sya binili and I'm still using it. I mean, my driver uses it. haha (my trauma kasi ako kaya until now I couldn't drive, when I was learning, ang una ko nabangga, traktora, o san ka pa?)

About buying a 2nd hand, I prefer toyota and mitsubishi. And before I owned one, I asked around and I also visited forums. Tapos, ininterview or inalam ko yung may-ari, where he used it. Paing-ilan owner ako, if ever. For the one I bought, pang3rd owenr ako, but the first one is his dad, gamit nila sa office then binigay sa kanya car, same office nya rin ginamit, kaya di naman ako nagkaroon ng problem kasi both of them maingat sa sasakyan. I also suggest you look for a first owned or lady owned car, yun yung di pa over used (IMO ko lang to ha)

Good luck sa car hunting sis! ako plan ko naman bumili ng 2nd hand van before the year ends. Need lang sa negosyo. Yun pa pala, sa pagpili mo ng sasakyan, also think kung san mo gagamitin, it's part of decision making din.

zooom, anong marerecommend mong car forums? Saka may nagbebenta ba din dun? Btw, Nissan yung car namin dati. Second owner kami at ok nga sya. I actually love that car. Kung hindi lang nagkasakit parents ko, malamang nasa amin pa rin yun.

fortunate, thanks for the suggestions. Maganda nga sana kung babae ang gumamit, kaya lang ang bilis mabili pag ganun. Hehe. Makikipagunahan ka talaga.

Re: kung san ko gagamitin yung car, hindi ko naman plano gamitin everyday kasi may carpool naman kami going to work. Kelangan ko lang sya pag may mga lakad at pag mag-grocery. Hirap kasi mag commute pag maraming dala. Hehe.

plus factor ba talaga pag lady-owned or lady-driven?

sakin kasi siguro mas important that you know the history of the car and the owner. although i've never bought pre-owned.

pero yung mga kilala ko kasing lady drivers, walang paki sa cars nila. they let other guys/drivers drive their cars. unlike guys that i know, parang gf ang treatment sa car, di pwedeng gamitin/hawakan ng iba. sabi nila, as much as possible daw, its best na isa lang nagda-drive ng car... anyway, back to lady drivers, siguro kasi mga rich at spoiled lang yung mga girls na kilala ko. hehe

balak ko din bumili kaso dahil sa baha, nagdadalawang isip. dapat mga model 2010 hehe, pero siguro after 5 years pa bago bumaba presyo

in our experience, mas hinde laspag ang car pag lady-driven. the thing lang is mejo madameng technical things na napapabayaan like madumi na masyado yung engine or some parts need replacement. I admit, wala ko alam sa mga ganyan basta magda-drive lang ako, sometimes i dont even bother checking kung may enough water ba yung radiator.

that's where i found my car. swerte ko lang nakahanap ako ng mabait at low-key seller kaya di ako nahirapan. gave me good discount and even helped with the lto paperworks.

Sis, beware of sellers in ayosdito.com. although super obvious naman talaga ang modus pero syempre mahirap na baka may kumagat, ang systema is very new model ang car like 2002 model Mitsubishi for just 94500 last price is 90K, than walang contact number, may link lang to send email to the seller, tapos mag email siya sayo that he is in UK with the car, and he will go here in the Phil anytime once you send him half of the cash through western union, pero hindi under her name, kahit kaninong name at address daw sa UK, hindi daw niya gagalawin ang pera assurance lang daw na may pambayad lang talaga.

Than once you check the car, nasa sulit din siya ang price ng car is 280K, then same ang pics pati ang details ng car iba lang ang name ng contact person.

Very obvious, anyway ingat na lang.

plan ko din to buy a 2nd hand car. ask ko lang kung ano ba ang disadvantage o high risk pag sakaling ang nabili kong car ay dating nalubog pala sa BAHA?

sabi nga kasi, mahirap malaman kung nalubog nga o hindi. lalo na kung nahilamusan o nalinis ng husto hanggang kasingit-singitan ng kotse. kaya malaki ang tendency na makabili ang buyer ng 2nd hand car na nalubog pala nung time nung ondoy.

pag ba nalubog na sa baha buong engine o katawan ng kotse. sirain na ba yun, kahit maging maingat pa ang driver? kahit hindi naman gasgas ang car sa pag-gamit, tipong pang-mall lang at pang-sundo sa mga bata pag weekend (not everyday use like office o school)

dahil ba nalubog sa baha? titirik ba ang kotse ng biglaan sa gitna ng daan, kahit okay naman ang lahat like battery, wiring, engine, enough fuel, etc. ano ba ang magiging maselan na prob ng mga unit na nalubog na sa baha, lalo na pala sa mga automatic. plan ko buy A/T.

advisable din po ba to buy A/T kahit hindi intended gamitin ang car everyday. maximum usage siguro mga 3-4x a week (mga 3-4 hrs lang) may nabasa kasi ako, sabi pag di madalas gamitin ang A/T, magiging sirain. pls sana may mag-reply TIA!

Bring a mechanic.
And check mo sis yung mga singit singit ng car.
Kze pag binaha, baka may makita ka pa na putik sa mga singit singit.
Kapain mo rin sis [textspeak!] ilalim ng upuan, if it's maalikabok or may oil oil, you can safely say na hindi sya binaha
