Recipes for DORY FILLET
« on: October 06, 2009, 05:16:09 PM »
I've been regularly buying Dory fillet sa grocery. Looking for new recipes. So far eto lang lagi kong naluluto with the dory fillets:

Basic recipe: Season sliced dory fillet with salt, pepper and calamansi. Coat with flour, dip in beaten egg and coat with japanese bread crumbs. Fry.

Sauces:
1. Lemon Butter Sauce;
2. Garlic and Oyster Sauce or Tausi and Oyster Sauce;
3. Sweet and Sour Sauce.

May alam pa ba kayong luto ng Dory fillet? Thanks  :)

Rub the fillets with grated ginger then steam. Then line the steamed fish on a plate, saute onions and kuchay in vegetable oil with a bit of sesame oil. Then pour the oil over the fish. :)

steamed with grated ginger + few drops of maggi seasoning sauce or a tablespoon of oyster sauce. :) so far, this is my fave dory recipe.

^ ill buy dory fish again when i go to the grocery store. ang sarap!

what i did naman:

i marinated the DORY fish sa kikoman soysauce. i put magic sarap. then seasoned with pinch of salt and pepper. tapos nagdikdik ako ng ginger and then nilagay ko din sa marinade. i cooked the fish sa non stick pan so no need for cooking oil. put mayonnaise on top after cooking.
