Rough road talaga pero since mga 2 or 3am kami umalis dito, we were there by lunch time and mostly tulog lang sa byahe at di pa masyado mainit.

We were in Baler last year. Okay dun. Kaso nakakatakot ang biyahe, mabangin kasi. Tsk tsk.

May kwentong Baler pala ako sa blog ko. =)

If mga kids ang kasama I don't really suggest this place though. But that's just my opinion sis.

^ Ay talaga? Hindi ko sure. Maganda naman yung place. Kaso nakakatako talaga.

My family & I are going to Baler on the 26th of Dec. Still choosing bet Bahia, Bays and Aliya. Any suggestions? WHo stayed @ Angara's? I can't find their official site. My tito said Bahia nalang kami kasi doon daw pinaka ok.

Both Bahia and Bays ok. Aliya, I'm not sure. Although for me naman talaga basta may place na ok matulugan ok na kasi it's not as if we will be staying there the whole day kasi puro labas naman kami.

We spent our annual Family Summer Outing in Baler. I didn't really enjoy much sa itinerary kasi konti lang naman yun pwede pasyalan sa area at di naman ako ganun kahilig sa surfing. What I enjoyed the most is the FOOD!!!!

In our entire stay, we ate only at Gerry Shan's. Ang mura lang food pero super sarap! Big servings pa. Pang family talaga

Just been to Baler last May 5-8... Genesis yung bus na sinakyan namin and the trip took only 6hours.ok naman yung road.. maayos.. though medyo maraming zigzags and mabangin..

we stayed at Kristine's villa since all beachfront inns and resorts were fully booked that time (may bikini open kasi). We only paid 800/pax for 4days and 3nights.. We tried surfing at Aliya Surfing camp for only P300/hour.. sobrang ok yung mga instructors dun... though sobrang sablay sa food service.. we took our breakfast there..  10am when we placed our order... after hundred follow ups and an hour of waiting, the waiter came and advised us that they still need to cook rice, the bread is not available and bibili palang.. and worst, when we called the owner/manager, he told us that the resto is not yet opened for public... what the?? why did they took our orders in the first place.. haay!  >:(

What's best in Baler is the waves, falls, and Bay's Inn's yummy and affordable food...

Though I think Baler is not child friendly.. I brought my 2 toddlers (3 and 2yrsold) and di rin sila nakapag swimming kasi natatakot sa waves...   :'(

Wow! Baler Thread! :D

Went there last week. We stayed for 5 days sa house nila Hubby sa Maria Aurora. ;) Which, by the way, was so huge, the first time I laid my eyes on it, nangilabot ako. Honest! :P

2nd and 3rd day, we ate at Bay's inn. Ok ang food. Affordable. What we liked best was the mixed seafood with tofu and the seafood rice and i forgot all the others. LOL 7 kami and we paid 1,600. Solve! Busog kung busog. I think we ordered waaaaay over what our tummy can handle. Hehe Per viand nila ranges from 120-200. :D But for the following day, we just had merienda kasi bumalik lang kami for swimming.

Kakatakot yung alon! :-\

But mind you, may isang marunong lumangoy na malakas ang loob na muntik ng tangayin ng current. He was upto to his neck when the waves came in right after the other. So he wasn't able to go back to where he was standing at. He just waved dun sa mga kasama nya asking for help "oy, oy tinatangay ako!" Tapos sinabihan kami na medyo umiiksi yung interval ng waves so we have to move a few meters off that spot. :)

That was my first time in Baler. Although second time in Maria na. I will invite some friends there if they're upto the loooong ride. Thank goodness for bonamine. Kung nagkataon, nagsuka ako sa zigzag road!   ;D
