Hmmm, kaya nga naghahanap ako who can give me a license with a surname Arroyo.  hehe...
Or, Tulfo.   hehe

Finally!  "Like a virgin, for the very 1st time!"  somebody says something not negative about the MMDA.

I pay the penalty P500.00 direct to MMDA's Metrobank account, no kotong naman...mas natatakot pa ako sa highway patrollers.

I also used to hate those tiny aisle in the middle of Edsa coz ang dilim pag gabi na, can cause accidents  ( they later put reflectors on them though).

BUT, I do understand where BF is coming from and kudos to him for building the footbridge in EDSA/ORTIGAS area.

He really did try though.  he got a lot of "mura" from me and hubby but at the end of the day, we understand he is just doing his job (pretty well too).

eto comedy ng konti.

My friend was flagged down. He was so scared...high school pa kasi. kaso todo porma siya as ROTC officer. naibaba lang ng konti yung window, nagsalita na yung MMDA

sabay alis.

*************

but anyway, ang hindi ko gustong style ng ibang MMDA traffic enforcers is yung they trap you ba pag alam nila na pag mataas ang percentage na magkakaviolation ka. lalo na pag busy intersection. and they just wave at you. kung tatanga t**** yung driver at tumigil para magtanong ng "bakit" (yes yes it happened to my probinsyanong driver) huhulihin ka kahit nasa tamang lugar ka.

These guys, instead of directing traffic eh, ilure ka sa tabi.

Coming from EDSA, we crossed (or U-turned, can't remember) going left to Shaw Blvd, which is legal. There's  no "no left turn" sign whatsoever. Then pinahinto kami ng MMDA. We asked ano violation namin, he said no left turn daw don. Then we said, there's no sign. At normal flow ang pag left since may nag le-left talaga na cars. Then nag isip siya ulit, not wearing seatbelts daw violation namin.

So binigyan nya ng 300. Aba nagpadagdag ang MMDAs, kasi 4 daw sila. Dagdag daw kami ng 100. Kapal grabe.

Counted ba pati MAPSA?

do you know gwapotel? it's an inn located in manila na puede kang magstay at matulog sa halagang 25 pesos.

^^ terrible.  and Bayani's voice keeps echoing inside my head, him saying, "No one is above the law".

What my hubby does especially when he KNOWS na wala talaga syang violation, sindak agad! Pagkababa pa lang ng window: "BAKIT!!!! ANONG PROBLEMA MO HA?!?!"  sa nawindang na MMDA manong. Hahaha! Naaawa ako promise. :P

There was one time, na flag down kami sa guadalupe makati and hubby used the nakakatakot na paninindak, the traffic enforcer just asked him, "SIR, PULIS PO BA KAYO?" LOL! Si hubby, honest naman. Sabi nya "HINDI! EH ANO KUNG HINDI?" Ayun, pinaalis din kami. Not a single centavo left our wallet. LOL.. .:D Laughtrip talaga.

Minsan, coding kami. Eh di ba you can use your car pa din naman kahit coding pag 10am-3pm?

Hubby: "BOSS, ANONG PROBLEMA?" (Kunwari, hindi nya alam violation nya)
MMDA: Sir, coding po kayo. Pahiram na lang po ng lisensya nyo.
Hubby: Kuya, may 10 minutes pako. Wala pang 4pm.
Hubby: Ay!!! HINDI KO PO ALAM!!! Naku, pasensya na po talaga.. HINDI KO TALAGA ALAM.... Akala ko 4pm talaga.

Ayun, we paid him 100 para paalisin kami. Tawa na lang kami ng tawa.

Actually, we'd rather give the license naman. We want a better philippines din.. :D BUT, yung mahuli ka sa manila then you have to get your license back yung masakit. Imagine na lang the wasted hours or yung pagluwas namin ulit. ;) ), ibibigay namin for sure. Wala masyadong abala. :D

when the traffic enforcer asked money from us, P2k.  tinawaran nga namin ng P500, ayaw.  bumigay na lang kami kasi kukunin daw license and hindi na daw mada-drive yung car the next day kasi no license na.  eh malapit na yung schedule ng vaccine ni baby, mahirap magcommute.  kaya bumigay na lang kami ng money para less hassle.  kasi mag-aabsent pa si hubby nyan para makuha lang license.  hindi pa naman sya pwede mag-absent ngayon.

So monkey-see,monkey-do -- umakma din ako at  tinutukan ko nang baril.

Bow ako men!

The MMDA does not have the right to confiscate your drivers license the MMDA is a joke if you look at the Philippine traffic laws and read them carefully there is no other authorized government agency to control traffic other than the LTO themselves metro aide Lang yang mga yan ask a lawyer and you will find out all you need to know about the MMDA

We went to Greenbelt yesterday form a birthday party at Green Meadows QC. We took the EDSA route since it's faster but we were flagged down by no less than MMDA just before me made a right turn in Ayala. Apparently we were on the yellow lane meant for buses. Obviously fault naman ni hubby yon since he was completely aware of the rule. Katwiran nya saken, he never expected that there will be an officer since it was a Sunday, plus, he takes that road everyday and he never gets apprehended (until yesterday).

So yun nga we got flagged down and this officer was asking for his license. I was annoyed since it was really hot, kasama pa namin my 18 month old daughter who was already getting cranky. Nagpalusot na lang si hubby na hinde nya alam and he rarely goes to the area kaya warning na lang daw sana. I wasnt paying too much attention to their conversation cus I was attending to my daughter but narining ko si officer sabe kay hubby 'so pano po ba gusto nyo?' ehdi hubby said 'ayusin na lang ho natin, hinde nauulit.' and he took out his wallet. The officer pretended to look at hubby's orcr and gave a signal to slip the money inside the receipt. Ayun, natapos din sa halagang 100 pesos. I reprimanded my husband for abusing the traffic law (especially with his lame excuse) but I felt really embarassed for the officer. Kakahiya gawain nila.  ::)

At ang sabi, pag wala daw sign, pede daw mag left turn, right turn or kung ano man. And meron yatang nabibiling rule book or guide book sa national bookstore tungkol sa traffic laws.

Nung isang araw, nahuli kami ng MMDA turning right under the bridge.

Wala daw kami seatbelt.

konting pang-merienda.

My first personal encounter with an MMDA officer:

4 days after I got my license from the Makati Traffic Adjudication (beating the red light -- buti na lang my friend is the granddaughter of the MTA head), my aunt passed away and we were all in a daze. So since we had arrangements to make, I skipped work and drove my mama and my sister to the bus station in Cubao. Just after the Katipunan LRT station, napansin ko na nagwawagayway ng white towel saken yung MMDA officer sa right side ng car ko. He was in a motorcycle. I got irritated cus I just got my license back and here was an officer trying to flag me down. Lo and behold, CODING pala ko that day. Sa sobrang taranta namin, I totally forgot na it was already 2:30PM. Yikes.

So syempre mega drama ko kay MMDA na ihahatid ko nga mama ko sa bus terminal kase namatay auntie ko and mejo taranta talaga kame. He gave me 2 options, I turn around and go back or I let him escort me all the way to the terminal and back kase ilang MMDA officers ang madadaanan ko. But syempre, he wouldnt do that for free kaya 'bahala na lang daw ako'. My mom who was in a hurry just said 'sige bibigyan kita ng 500. importante lang talaga to'. In short, he escorted us and true enough ilang officers nga talaga pumapara saken pero he waved them off lang. Sa mga stop lights nakikipagkwentuhan pa ang bruho and asked kung ano kinamatay ng auntie ko and such.

I didnt know how to do it so I just slipped the moneyinside an empty cigarette ox and threw it outside.
Whatever I want, I get. If I can't, I don't stop TRYING.
