I just got vaccinated today. Its P2600 per shot with my current OB. I think this is way cheaper than the others. By the way, she used Cervarix kasi ito din daw ang gamit nya and there's no need for a booster shot after 7years unlike Gardasil. (this is accdg to my OB). Mas recommended daw nya ang Cervarix.

What if nag pa vaccine then you suddenly discovered you are pregnant? Masama kaya yun? Kasi ako before ako nagpavaccine, I had a preg test, negative ang result. Then the next day nagpavaccine ako. Kaso, I am suddenly feeling sore nipples and breast. Sign ito when I got pregnant so medyo nagwoworry ako. Then delayed pa ko ng 3weeks pero neg naman ang preg test ko.... :(

anybody here tried to inject in the butt. my ob told me pwede daw sa butt iinject so that you can still use your arms after the injection kasi minsan heavy daw ang arms once you have been shot.

If you have been exposed to HPV, would you still take the vaccine?

Sis, sabi ng OB ko mas kailangan nga daw ng vaccine lalo kapag na exposed kana. That's why I had my shot right away. Pero ngayon magaling na.

hi everyone!
It is only now that I realized na this thread is featured in the content section of Female Network! LOL! So nice! I love love it! Female Network threads are so helpful and so full of information!

sis michelle,
ah okie thanks so much!

sis oblina,
most of the gt sisters here have had their cervical cancer vaccines naman in their 20's and 30's na. kasi women are urged to have the vaccine once they become sexually active. so go go go lang!  :)

sis rumplehuey,
have you asked na your ob about taking the vaccine a few days before you knew you might be pregnant? asi i asked my ob, she said na dapat may at least 6 months na after the last shot before ako mag ttc.
I SUPER UBER LOVE GIRLTALK!

sis tsokolat, can you pm me your OB details? me and my friends would like to get vaccinated din. =) I've actually contacted our HR dept and they said that we don't have any promo or program for this vaccine. So sad di ba? So suggest na lang ako na sana magawan nila ng paraan.

Lei_Glee, yes I did asked my OB pero good thing hindi naman pala ako buntis. Naka 2nd shot na ako. She said that its okay if I suddenly knew I got pregnant basta naka 2nd shot na ko.

^i asked din my ob about this, lam mo naman kasi tayong ttc feeling preggy lagi every month hehe sabi nya once malaman na preggy, stop lang mga next shots. drawback lang is parang mababalewala mga previous shot kasi para effective ang vaccine the 3shots should be completed. pero ok lang sa kin di makumpleto basta preggy hehe

hi everyone,
about cervarix, yung one-time lang ba yun na dosing?
so wala ng pagulit-ulit na ilang doses like gardasil?
I was just thinking kasi pag trying to conceive ka, mas advantageous to,  yun nga lang 2 strains lang ang mastop niya.

sis gcarrie,
korek feeling preggy nga every month hehe!
Ah so the next time namagpavaccine ka, back to the initial dose uli?

sis rumplehuey,
oo nga eh you cannot know naman kasi beforehand kung mabubuntis ka no.
