what time of the year ang best na magpunta dito? thanks.

hi! i'll be in dumaguete on april for the 1st time
any suggestions on where we can go in dumaguete? we're staying in Bethel for a day den travel to Siquijor the next day.....

thanks!

good choice of hotel, been there 2008, first choice namin yun kaya lang no available room for us n. must try yung sylvannas nila super sarap! pasalubong sis! pero early nagco-close ang store, i think 5 or 6pm, we wanted to suggest nga na dapat late sila magclose, masarap rin mga cakes nila.

Hotel Nicanor is the best hotel in Dumaguete. So I recommend Hotel Nicanor. Laging puno nga lang sa nicanor so mag advance reservation kayo dapat

we were in dumaguete last Feb and we stayed there for 2 nights, we stayed in a hotel beside one of the campuses of Siliman University.  may SPA pa sa hotel = we got discount sa SPA kasi duon kami nakacheck in - after the walking we did at casaroro falls, our body deserve the massage.

we went to casaroro falls and forest camp - had late lunch in forest camp (medyo pricey) then we went to see twin lakes - pero since late afternoon na kami dumating duon, we only saw one of the lakes - ang layo kasi - sa itaas ng bundok and to go to the next lake we have to take a small boat pa

we went to apo island on the second day  - nag snorkelling din sa marine sanctuary - day trip lang kami sa apo island, malinaw ang tubig mabato lang nga so better bring your aqua shoes.  medyo kulang lang ang facilities lalo na ang restrooms, but the place is ok.  madaming foreigners.  the Bisaya has discounts sa Apo Island so they paid less compared sa amin na hindi Bisaya.

Dun sa port where we took the boat to Apo Island may ginagawang restroom , so by now siguro tapos and operational na yun - kasi wala kaming mapagbanlawan sa poso lang kami nakibanlaw :-)

the store that sells sylvannas close at 7 pm but they have a branch in Robinsons that close at 8 pm.  If you need to buy para pasalubong, you can buy at the store and tell them that you will bring this to Manila and  tell them the time of your flight tapos they will tell you kung anong oras pwede pick up yung goodies.  dun ang pick up sa house sa tabi ng store (near Rizal Ave or Blvd).

hello mga sis..just got back from my solo travel ng Dumaguet - Siquijor. Love ko na Siquijor :)

Hotel Nicanor - highly recommended. Sobrang worth it ng price.

No need for deposit.

15 min. trike ride from Siquijor port to the resort.

yup..nagtrike din lang ako from airport to port.
