^ i'm using vray for my work as a junior architect. pero hindi po sya about picture editing. it's more of you are the one creating your photo. before vray e kelangan na me alam na din sa 3d modeling. 3ds max and sketchup are the common softwares used. check cgpinoy.com me tutorials dun and lots of inspiring interior and exterior rendered pictures.

check icad near in UST. nasearch ko lang sa sulit.com yung ads nila kaso ng mag inquire ako e hindi daw makakadating yung vray instructor. madami din nag ooffer ng service sa net. or i can help you po sa basics lang.

i do my photo editing in adobe photoshop CS3 (at the moment) haven't found any other software I'm comfy using.

i know illustrator can be used for fashion illustrations -- putting in cloth pattern/color, etc... anyone who could help me with that?

you know what, sis? i tried reading books on photoshop, walang nagyari, better pa din talaga ang hands-on studying. dun, natuto ako.

ako naman umay na umay sa photoshop, illustrator , flash for presentation, etc.. my course kasi is multimedia arts. but love ko designs na girly girl. sana nga matapos ko na interactive portfolio ko. love ko din vector art, dapat nga [textspeak!] may talent ka mag drawing.

me and my bf are using photoshop and illustrator cs3. di pa kaya ng pc specs namin mag cs4.

mahilig din ako sa vector arts. we have a collection na ginagamit namin sa paggawa ng designs.

sinubukan kong magvectorize dati, ang hirap pala grabe. sobrang tyagaan. so far, calla lily pa lang ang totoong vector image na nagawa ko. LOL. sana magkaron ako ng time na pag-aralan yung pag vectorize.

si h2b naman bihasa sa photoshop. part kasi ng trabaho nya eh. but i find illustrator easy to use for illustrations and designs. photoshop for photo editing.

may collection din si bf ng mga video tutorials. pinaka-ok yung from lynda.com kasi mga certified masters and experts ang nagtuturo. mas madali matuto pag video tutorials. wish i could share them kaya lang sobrang laki ng mga files. more than a year din inipon ni bf yung mga collections nya.

dati wala syang alam sa mga software na yan, magaling lang sya sa freehand drawing. pero because of these tutorials, bread and butter na nya ngayon ang graphics design/editing.

ako naman i'm a graphic artist. i use mostly photoshop seldom lang yung illustrator. actually, mas gusto ko sana mag freehand drawing when i graduated yun pala puro graphic artist ang available na trabaho ng mga fine arts. haay.

ako hindi ko masyado gamay ang Photoshop. mas user-friendly for me ang Corel. just for past time lang naman. si BF ang career talaga sa photoshop, corel, illustrator.. u name it. IT grad naman kase siya and he loves studying does apps for web designing.

Dadali buhay mo sa pen! I'm a designer, although not primarily an illustrator, and I'd still find it useful kahit hindi ko job 'to. I switched to a pen when I thought I was going to be in danger of having carpal. Ang mahirap kasi talaga sa mouse madaling sasakit ang wrists mo if that's what you do for long hours at a time (which is needed for my job). With a pen, it's really helpful. I'd advice it for everyone except 3D artists and gamers.

^ super sulit siya. You can start with a cheap one naman, I'd recommend Genius--sa Greenhills they're just around 1.8k for a Genius 450. Pero the best parin syempre ang Wacom, mas mahal nga lang. But they're lighter and they don't need batteries.

i do graphic design also pero CS3 pa rin. parang ang bilis kasi nila magpalit palit and it pretty much does the same anyway

siguro this year ugrade nako to CS4.
