napaka mura naman nung 1k na ssp sa palawan. when i went to palawan last dec 2007, i asked for the cheapest ssp. nasa 12k yung 13mm

para sigurado buy from a reputable seller who will give a certificate that will vouch for the authenticity of the pearl. i agree 1k for a ssp is soo cheap, that is kung totoong ssp nga sya.

before nagkaron ng jewelry sale sa market market(metro department store?) and reasonable yung prices ng ssp nila.with certificate pa.

^onga sobrang mura naman ang 1k.
Please correct me if I'm wrong pero smallest size is 13mm diba? Kasi I got mine back in college, my dad gave them to me.set siya with the necklace.didn't take the ring..they're 13mm and whitish yung color..may flaws siya, may dent yung isa pero hindi halata kasi sa side siya pero I really really love them..and pinaset ko ng white gold plus yung necklace yung omega type na two toned. Very simple pero love love ko talaga. Supposedly 30k pero dahil friend namin 20k nalang.

My mom has the same set pero her pearls are pinkish naman. Super pretty pero mas like ko yung sakin.

^They come in smaller sizes too. The price of south sea pearls would depend on the following factors:

Luster - the most important quality in a pearl, it refers to how a pearl's surface reflects light and it's inner glow.
Surface - the smoother the better
Shape - the rounder or near perfect roundness the better
Color - not so much important as the previous factors mentioned as the color would depend on the customer's preference. Unless one gets a rare Tahitian black ss pearl with purple overtones!
Size - the bigger the more expensive specially if the luster, surface and shape are near perfect.

The 1K price mentioned is too cheap and can not be a south sea pearl. Baka fresh water pearl pwede pa.

si mikaela bilbao of mikaela philosophy salon, nag start sa pag trade ng ssp from davao, from there nakapag patayo siya ng mikaela salon

mura daw talaga ang ssp from davao, around 1k nga lang mga 13mm, besides sobrang abundant naman talaga ng pearls in pinas, kaya dapat lang na mababa yung price here

how to spot a real SSP?

applicable lang ba sa freshwater yung kapag nirub mo parang instead na magform ng scratches nagiging powder lang..

I want a SSP, pero ang mahal sa Jewelmer, meron pa bang ibang reputable stores?
Remember my name, you'll realize how you let go of the one that has done nothing but just to love you.
