Hay... sinabi mo pa. Tumingin tingin nga ko sa NBS hoping for that last book sa trilogy pero wala. Naalala ko na sobrang namamahalan na ko sa P59.75 and I have to save up para makabili ng 1 book haha Sana ibalik nila lahat kasi I'm sure may mga teen girls ngayon na gusto mabasa yun or sana mabasa nila yung mga binabasa natin nung bata tayo haha

I used to remember Sweet Valley books cost around P59.75 lang dati hanggang sa naging P84.00. Ngayon sa National bookstore kaloka P200++ na. :P

huwattt?! 200 na?! Sobrang mahal na! hard bound na ba yan?

Sa sweet Valley University naman, super naiyak ako sa One Last Kiss.. nagkabalikan pa naman sina Lizzie and Todd pero dahil may brain tumor yung korean na ex-gf ni Todd.. nagbreak sina Lizzie and todd uli.. pero namatay din yung korean..

True. haha. ako rin I have to ask my Mom to buy me a book. P60.00 noon parang big deal na para makabili ng book. :D Sana nga balik nila yung SV series just like Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series. Nice to read naman eh kahit yung iba parang out of this world yung story.

Nope sis. Softbound copy lang yung book. Ni-republished lang nila ulit yung mga first old books ng SVH at iniba na yung cover pero the story is the same. At sobrang mahal nya ha... I'd rather buy other nice books... eh heller you can get an old copy of SVH sa Recto for P10 per piece pag marami pa binili mo may libre pang iba. :D

I loved sweet valley but I found (in adult hood)that they have a warped view of the world. Characters that did not fit the traditional mold were labeled as outcasts. So if you come from a single parent/divorced family or if you're fat or "different" then you're automatically an outcast.

I was also in love with Nicholas Morrow. I loved his green eyes and the fact that he was 18 and sophisticated. Lila was my favourite character. Jessica was super stupid and Liz annoyed the sh"t out me!

Sweet Valley Twins ang first book na pinagbabasa ko and from then on, nagbabasa na ako ng pocketbooks. ;)

I have so many memories sa Sweet Valley. This was one of my fave books when I was young. I remember I even joined the Sweet Valley club sa US and I wrote a letter to the author. I also watched the Sweet Valley series on tv. I'm such a die-hard fan back then ;D
