^yes I agree on perla white. That's what they used before nung di pa uso ang specialized baby laundry soaps. Manual Laba Lang nga

Doesnt the perla white leave a residue on baby's stuff? Chaka nakakalinis ba talaga sya? My mom suggested this also but I havent asked my pedia or doctor so I havent gone ahead & bought it for my son's stuff :)

^perla is the one recommended by my kids' pedia. That's an old brand na and I guess trusted already. It was only the last 5 years nauso ang specialized laundry in the country (around the time I was pregnant with my eldest).

With regards to the residue, like with any soap, I guess it all the depends on how well you rinse the clothes after washing.

kami din, we use perla white. we used to use cycles but when my baby developed some rashes, my pedia suggested that we switch to perla white since some babies react badly to the specialized laundry soaps daw. weird. ang mura ng perla white so happy ako! tipid :)

Stormy, I agree on that. Pero I don't use perla, not because I don't trust the product. Washing machine kami sa condo. If meron powder variant yan, that's what I'll buy. Kapag perla, hand washed dapat so mas magastos sa tubig.

What we use is perwoll pink. Before yung yellow variant, specifically made for babies. But nung mahirap maghanap ng stocks, we just used the pink variant that we also use for clothes going out. Wala namang reactions yung baby. Perwoll is cheaper than cycles btw.

^my pedia din walang bilib sa specialized soaps. Sabi niya but nung baby kayo wala namang ganyan and you grew up all right.

I agree w/ perla kasi yun din gamit sa clothes naming magkakapatid when we were babies. Gamit din namin yun ngayon for our baby pero sa unang sabunan. Pampaputi na din. Handwash yun. Then banlaw. Next sabon is baby detergent na.

We've used cycles, smart steps, perwoll baby, ivory snow, charlie's soap. Ok naman samin lahat.  But we're sticking to perwoll baby, ivory snow & charlie's soap.

Mom's right pala. Sige nga will look at Perla White as an option for my baby's clothes tapos yung Cycles ko for the nappies nalang :) the Perla is available naman in most supermarkets right? :)

We use Cycles.

i use Cycles for my baby's clothes.. but not anymore. thanks to this thread..i realized Cycles is the culprit pala kaya nag fe-fade yung clothes ng baby ko... muntik ko pa paalisin labandera ko. :(
Quick story lang ha: before ako manganak pina wash ko yung mga baby clothes using cycles. when i saw the clothes after na wash and dry ..i nearly cried..kasi nag mukhang luma. As in brandnew Carter, Gerber  na brands from the US. Akala ko yung maid ko lang.  Now i have a different maid..nagtataka ako bakit yung mga mothercare na binili ko 2 months ago nag fafade na rin. Thanks to this thread.. i realize its Cycles talaga.. kakaasar. you buy expensive stuff for your baby thinking its the best.. di rin pala. :'( will buy Perla or Victoria tom.

Started off with cycles which was ok...but I also read that it causes fading so I didn't buy another box. I also got Perwoll baby - it was ok too. We're now using Ivory Snow and Oxyclean baby. Pedia advised to use Perla white though so once my Ivory Snow runs out we'll use that na. My aunt gifted us 6 boxes of ivory snow so it's gonna be awhile.

We started with Cycles tapos triny ko Smart Steps. Kanina lang nya tinry and mabango daw. Mukha namang nagustuhan nya.
