anyway, sa mga nakapunta na dun, kailangan ba ng visa or other documents? how did you go about getting one, if ever?

how much was your budget (example, for a 3-day stay)?

Hi mga sis..

I've been to Kota Kinabalu for several times na.. my sister lives there and my dad is working there.
My sister lives in Radiant Tower in Likas Zone just near KK City. Masaya sa KK especially for Shoppaholics and Food trippers.. hahaha

Imagine Esprit, Roxy, Body Glove, Guess, Gap, Body Shop, Face Shop.. lahat ng clothing and cosmetics brands are soooo cheapp... as in..
Secret recipe, VedaBlu, pizzas, seafoods ang mura.. i really have a great time pag nasa KK ako.. Feels like home lang pero mura lahat..

I've been to Lokkawi, Manukan island, Nexus, Mt.

Yup Le Meridian is in the heart of KK..

Anyway, don't forget mag Food trip in SEDCO Water front.. Its like a huge Food Court pero super as in Cheap lang ng seafoods.. may mga pinoys pa dun nagseserve.. sarap dun sis...=)

Hay... ;D

And I know you will enjoy SECRET RECIPE in KK..., yung chocolate banana dun RM7 lang e dito 150 ata 1 slice.. don't forget to try Veda Blu ice cream cake you will love it.. Imagine sa RM100 super busog ka na sa pizza and pasta.. i forgot the resto e.. but its in Warisan near body Shop..

Speaking of Body Shop.. Yung 2 way foundation nila na 1,5k dito RM50 lang dun pati yung blush on na madaming shade RM50 lang.. pati set ng brush RM70.. super mura lang sis..

Nag oorder nga mag officemates ko ng Body Shop and other cosmetics pag umuwi dad ko kasi super mura.. pati mga scrubs..

Naku magdala ka ng extra budget for cosmetics.. get ready Sis.. maganda na yung handa sa bonggang shopping..

Mga sisses help po! I can not decide which hotel tutuluyan namin, tune hotel is cheap with nice reviews. Around 132 MR for 3 nights. kame lang sa room. Walang breakfast. Pero yung ibang hostels around 195 with free toast and coffee.
 Alin ba mas ok?
Kase sa tune hotel private talaga yung bathroom .
 Sa hostels shared bathroom.
Sino po may alam about Lok kawi Zoo? May shows daw dun ang mga animals? paano pagpunta doon? thanks

^ Lok Kawi is just 45-1 hour drive from KK. Tabin is in Lahad datu (province in sabah) Orang Utan Sanctuary is also somewhere in sabah.. Siguro po you can go to Lok Kawi na lang po.. Maganda naman dun kaso when we arrived there tanghali na kaya we stayed sa parag kubo dun, kaso di na kinaya ng bro in law ko pati ng mga kids kaya umuwi din kami agad.. you can rent naman po ng golf cart din.

Sis you can visit KINABALU PINE RESORT sa may paanan ng Mt. Siguro 1-1/2 hours drive yun,

After pine resort, you can try PORING HOT SPRING just near pine resort. The water is naturally hot kasi its coming from the mountain, i think my Sulfur yun pang tanggal ng arthritis hahaha..  :D

I'm not sure po where to get a bus papuntang Pine Resort e.

I hope you'll enjoy your holiday there.. KK is definitely a great place. Fresh lahat.. its the perfect place to commune with nature (and shopping)..

Enjoy!! =)

I've been to kota kinabalu airport during our stop-over going to malaysia via frankfurt sayang pinipilit ako ng stewardes na bumaba muna for aircraft cleaning maintenance daw nakita ko kasi hindi attractive airport nila so i thought its a waste of time so nagtulog lan ako. And reading some good reviews here made me think na maganda pala sya.
Hold me close for in a blink of an eye i might get lost...

hi, i am planning to stay at novotel borneo1. how far is this hotel from the airport and what are the nearby attractions? If taking a cab to and from the airport, how much?

Hi there I'm not so sure about Novotel. Is it in 1Borneo? Mejo malayo nga po yun from the airport, [textspeak!] mga 45mins po pero pwede na. If by cab po [textspeak!] nasa RM25+ kc we tried getting a cab from KK city to my sis' place RM18 na e malpit lang yun.. mejo malayo lang sanyo kaya nagrarange yan ng 25+.
Tourist attraction in KK would be the Safaris, beaches, more of nature tripping e.. Meron din mountain climbing, Orang Utan Sanctuary.., I would recommend Manukan Island and Nexus resort if you want to go for a swim... Mura lang po food sa KK..m,

Tip lang po:
If you want to buy chocolates as pasalubong.. buy in GIANT (supermarket) madami pong branches un..
