Me too, I like useful gifts. Yung tipong items that I really use. I remembered, an office gave me an incense burner before.  For the life of me, hindi ko talaga maisip kung bakit.  I mean marami namang generic gifts na mas useful diba. Isip ko na lang that time, at least naalala niya ko. Yun nga lang, after 3 years, nasa closet pa rin yung gift niya.

nung bata pa ako..maybe until college mahilig ako mag-expect. pag hindi nangyari nalulungkot ako pero nakaka-move on naman agad. nung nagka-work na ako, hindi na ganun attitude ko. kahit igreet lang ako masaya na atleast may nakaalala. thinking ko kasi, now that i'm working and earning my own money. kaya ko naman bumili na ng material things for myself without expecting someone to give it to me.

for practical reasons na rin kasi kung magreregalo nga sila pero hindi ko naman magagamit dahil hindi ko gusto e di sayang lang. pag nag-mature ka maiintindihan mo rin yun at ciempre it's better to give than to receive. ^^

me naman, I really don't expect to receive gifts sa kahit anong occasion pero I love to receive kaya super happy ako if someone gives me a present..kahit small things lang naa-appreciate ko talaga.. like last christmas, i was surprised to see na ang dami kong gifts from family and friends, eh hindi ko expected yun, akala ko nga wala man lang ako gift  kahit isa..hehe..

kay hubby naman, since spoiled ako sakanya, i expect him to give me gifts every special occasion. sakanya ko bumabawi haha since alam ko naman bongga lagi gift niya. yung alam kong magugustuhan ko.

sa family ko naman i expect them to give me their full time on my birthday. a simple dinner with them super happy na ko. basta complete kami.

But it's all worth it basta maging happy family ko :) .

From my then-bf now-hubby, yes.

Pero alam ko naman he can afford it kaya I expect. Nung times early in the relationship na he was taking a risk on something and he didnt have a lot of disposable money, di ako nagreklamo na wala ako gifts.

Then there's a friend naman na kinuha yung gift namin, so pipili si hubby ng gift akala ko kukunin nya yung napagusapan namin, then guess what mga sis yung makeup foundation ng maybelline yung kinuha nya, nasaktan talaga ako till now di ko pa sya kinikibo. I'm so sad.  :-[ >:(

i expect gifts from hubby only during our anniversary and my birthday, and when he travels abroad. those were the only times that i also give gifts to him.

eversince we met, he's been very generous. jewelries at first, but when he realized i wasn't that interested, gadgets naman. now that we're married, mas bongga syempre. kaya pag binibigyan nya ako ng flowers or chocolates, super big deal sakin yun.

so to answer the question, early on the relationship, hindi talaga ako nag-eexpect. but now that he's established a trend, yes, i do expect. but i also make sure it will not affect our finances.

I dont expect gifts from anybody, I love to give though coz it's such a wonderful feeling - only to people that matters to me (family) :) not to casual friends.

She gave me amount of P2000 na P100 denomination into pieces kaya ang gagawin ko p1500 lang deposit sa bank then yung 500 iiwan ko sa house as remembrance  ;D She also gave me blouse kaso hindi ko type so good thing I was able to tell her honestly na hindi ko type ganun blouse.

So,i hid na lang my disappointment and kiss him and told him that i love it.

Then, he told me na for Christmas, na mag hanap na ako ng oorderan ko ng Ipad Mini because hindi  kami nakabili sa HK trip dahil 2 weeks pre-order pala. Nahirapan ako maghanap at sinabi ko sa kanya, na hindi umabot yung order ko from my friend na uuwi from Canada.
Yehey, an Ipad Mini as Christmas giftt, so ok na ako. Maaga ko din binigay yung Iphone nya gift ko naman for him para maenjoy nya habang Christmas season.

So come Christmas Day, no expectations na kasi nakapagbigayan na. But still thinking kung ano ipapabili kong bag (LV or Gucci) sa friend kong magbabakasyon sa US right after Christmas. In short, medyo i really love bags. After opening a. lot of gifts, i saw a thick envelope (a christmas card) with my name written on it. Sabi ko, ay namiss-out ko, bakit makapal.Lo and behold, galing pala sa hubby ko, and inside, another envelope na Louis Vuitton, a gift card. I really have no inkling. Hanggang ngayon, kinikilig ako.
Yun pala after hearing na di umabot yung ipad mini, pumunta agad ng LV Greenbelt to buy me my gift. I love you hubby! : )
It's actually the 3rd time in a row, na LV bag ang gift nya. Thank you hon, love yah! : )

Basta ang pinaka-ayaw ko, picture frame.
Pinaka quirky gift, yung glass na umiilaw. sobrang aliw.
