tinapon ko na yung bitter gourd tea from china, i felt like dinaya ako eh. iba yung taste niya parang lasang ipis o kung ano man ang nilagay dun basta hindi siya lasang natural.. parang may hinalo na something.

i bought charantia ampalaya, banaba and malunggay tea..  combine ko lahat sila sa kettle... ang sarap!!

next time i try ko yung sambong, lagundi and barkwood..

when i was young pinapainom ako ng sambong for my asthma. fresh leaves and then pinapanligo rin sa akin yun. my sissy thinks kaya smooth balat ko coz of that LOL.

i like mint tea and now im appreciating chai. theres a brand of raspberry tea i like din one brand is yung sa seattle's best...if anyone can give me the brand name...another one that tastes like it is um er i forgot meron pa silang  tea na may mojito which i want to get ill post the brand later. traditional medicinals has kombucha that tastes good parang smoked kasi. nothing beats loose leaf and yung may flowers talaga.

minsan with black tea or earl grey i likey with milk. masaya nga high tea.

i dont like celestial seasonings...tama ba and stash im partial with. twinings is ok for commercial brand. try raw honey it tastes better than clover...feeling ko lang.

____
ayun naalala ko na organic fair trade zena ata yun meron sila mojito na flavor and good raspberry tea.

^ Kumusta taste ng Stash? Dami nilang flavors eh. Pero I haven't tried any.

Btw, where do you buy pure authentic honey?

I like the Japanese Cherry Tea of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Masarap siya, sobra.  :)

For homemade tea naman, I like my lola's ginger tea. I just don't know how she prepares it to taste that good.

^stash is so so i don't like the white tea something na i got. it was just plain nothing great about it. thats the thing with the commercial types kaya cheaper than real loose leaf teas and flowers kasi some are just leftvers from the fine tasting ones. pero the moroccan mint i liked naman. i stay away from it tho for some reason idunowhat.

organic stores or mmmm bee farms? pero oks na rin ang sue bee if thats whats available mahal rin kasi ang honey eh.

ginger tea rin natutunan ko gustuhan pero siguro hint of ginger lang yun and not the real thing. can you ask nga your lola how she does it i want to try making it din baka gumanda boses ko :P

masarap talaga ang twinings but it's more expensive than other brands. i recommend the twinings green tea with jasmine and the four red fruits variety. so reinvigorating! i also love dilmah and gold leaf brands. least favorite ko yung lipton green tea.

me too, i love dilmah's strawberry tea. next would be twinings' english breakfast tea.

^ You should also try Lipton's Yellow Label Tea. Some of my family members & friends abroad who are also tea lovers, have to outsource this pa. I'm glad we have it locally in our grocery stores & supermarkets. Ito favorite ko sa Lipton.

wow, i never really noticed that they didn't carry this abroad!  thanks for the tip!  makapagbaon nga the next time i leave...

I'm really more of a coffee drinker, but when I was in the US this past winter, I would drink tea to help keep me warm, especially later during the night when i wouldn't want to be kept up by caffeine.  I would drink the non-caffeinated variants.

I also like the flavored variants, very refreshing. I like lemon, orange and raspberry.

i've learned drinking tea when i have a sore throat and the attendant in starbucks suggests Tazo mint tea for it soothes the throat daw, from then on i've been buying Twinings peppermint tea and Lipton mint tea.  So far, nothing beats TAZO. hindi kasi ganun ka-mint ang lipton and twinings.

and there's this roasted brown rice tea ang sarap! it was given by a friend from US, have learned helps to regulates sleeping disorders daw. parang me pagkalasa ng service tea ng teriyaki boy but much flavorful ito, and recently saw it sa market ang mahal pala nito costs P350 for 5packets lang.

nakakatawa yung ibang tea na sineserve sa mga spas...parang halos walang lasa na. i hope they don't resue the tea bags.  :o

but the ginger tea sa The Spa is yummy!

I also make my own salabat, with a teaspoon of local honey as sweetener. Right now I'm using CEM unfiltered honey. It's a local brand. It's cheap but surprisingly good!

Sa available sa grocery, green tea or earl grey or chamomile, preferably Twinings. The authentic south asian chai is also sooooo good.

I boil 2 teabags in a small pot of water, add calamansi and honey, then chill. Sarap!
