TEA Lovers Thread
« on: June 29, 2009, 11:02:12 AM »
I've just recently discovered the joy of drinking tea (the mountain tea of Sagada). However, since I'm new to this & Sagada is quite far, I'd like to ask for your most preferred brand of tea. Do you mix it with honey or lemon, or what's your choice of mix? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

(To the MODS: I've checked & searched, but there doesn't seem to be an existing thread similar to this. Pa-merge na lang po if there actually is an existing thread. Thanks.)

Hi, sis. Curious ako dun sa Twinings na brand. Maraming interesting na flavors eh. Available sa supermarket. Might try that soon, pag naubos na 'yung Lipton Green Tea ko. Sabi kasi ng friends ko hindi naman daw all-natural ang Lipton. Hmm...

mint teas i love...

specifically mint tazo tea (i get this from starbucks), pero ok na din yung lipton na mint tea

i don't like lipton green tea.

i also like ginger tea (salabat in tagalog he he he he); i used to get a bottle of powdered ginger tea from the grocery, i forgot what it's called na.

i also love teas.. my favorite is raspberry flavored tea. i drink green tea most of the time, pero never ko pa natry magtea na pangdiet..

what i missed the most was the tea my chinese (galing china pa talaga) "grandmother" used to make.. authentic tea talaga.

i like lipton din kasi very flavorful, yung isang bag pwede up to 5x may taste parin.

rice tea also masarap kaya lang mahirap yata mahanap to..

^I love lychee-flavored teas too.

I also drink green tea everyday, instead of coffee.

i won't last a day without a cup of tea! love love love tea! i've been drinking it for the last 15 years or so. started with black tea, i drink mostly green tea and oolong tea now.

masarap talaga ang twinings but it's more expensive than other brands. i recommend the twinings green tea with jasmine and the four red fruits variety. so reinvigorating! i also love dilmah and gold leaf brands. least favorite ko yung lipton green tea.

i usually drink my tea with clover honey.  :)

Love ko din ang tea and i don't drink coffee.  Most of the time twinings ang brand na binibili ko and sue bee honey if i want to sweeten it a bit.  Ang tea sa pantry ko ngayon eh china green tea, japanese green tea, black tea, mint, four red fruits, rice tea, mangosteen & banaba.

i believe it's true. my teeth are stained but i can't stop drinking tea. even if i use a whitening toothpaste, it's pointless because i drink tea everyday.

I'd choose tea over coffee any day. I have a lot of teas sourced from around the world. I prefer loose leaf over teabags but some are just fine.

I absolutely love ginger tea! I can drink this the whole day plus I have discovered its great for an upset tummy, chills, etc :)
