Hi sisses,

I just want to share that I'm going to franchise a nail salon and spa and place it at Waltermart.. 350,000 yung franchise pero parang 800-1.4M yung initial na capital na kailangan for everything.

Hi, if anybody's looking to start up their own spa business and are looking for equipment and products to use, we import state of the art spa equipment and products from the US that you may want to look at.  For what it can do and the price that you can get it, you can have your ROI faster over what you can get out there commercially.  If interested to learn more, pm me your contact number and I will contact you and give you more details as I can't send pms for now because I am not allowed to yet.

Pa-join!

I'm planning to start on my own home service massage business by last week of September. Need help sana please. This is what I have so far..

Things I'd need:

-therapists (sweldo nila is commision based, what's a good hatian?)
-towels/blankets
-oils (where can I go for my supplier? meron ba sa divi?
-scrubsuits (san din pwede mahanap to?)
-candles (id want this to be an option for my clients)
-cellphone (3 - yes, gusto ko lahat ng network)
-car (looking at the carry na van)

Also, would I need a business permit to run this?

HELP please!
Crazy/Beautiful.

My mom is a massage instructor at TESDA PALAWAN, My aunt and cousin were reflexology and massage instructor here in manila, so I'm planning to get her best students in Palawan incase I pushed thru,un nga lang kailangan ko mag rent ng space for them or yung magiging spa will have a staff quarter.

my nakita ako seminar sa trc/dost gov website regarding starting a spa biz if may interesado dito magseminar mag join forces tayo para makamura. 1375 kasi per head.

ALSO: cheapest suppliers are inside tabora and the one near Starbucks Binondo is far expensive.

3 of my cousins also work in a spa so the senior one showed me where her boss buy the products though hindi ko po marating mag isa kasi pasikot sikot.

I really love to start one in makati since home service spa is "delikado, mas risky as magastos in my opinon.

Better if they have the DOH & Tesda certificates na kasi isa yan sa requirements sa pagkuha ng business permit. Our pasahod is commission + monthly allowance. Free na apartment, housewater, gasul, drinking water, electricity and cable tv. Furnished na yung house nila, damit nalang nila dadalhin. They buy & cook their own food, may tip naman sila. The rest on your list is madali na bilhin basta you have the manpower na to start with. Almost 2 years na kami and thank God, stable na employees ko now, more than a year na sila.

I thinks spas is a really good business but you would need a big capital.

Hi sisses! would want to solicit comments on "Kids Spa & salon" business. Yes, kids from 0-14years old get a massage, haircut and venue for spa parties. Also a place for the whole family, parents can tag along their kids for massage as a family bonding. Mom can also get a facial while her baby is getting a massage. it's either RN or underboard-nursing grads trained to be therapist yung masseuse. Intensive training kasi babies and kids ang ihahandle nila.

Me and my husband want to realize this goal soon through a franchise. But need feedbacks, thoughts and comments pls. High end yung target market and so critical yung location, dapat prime din. TIA!

Sa mga may franchise na spa or salon, how much royalty are you paying? is it based on net sales or gross sales? thanks much :)

For spa, salon owners who offer online vouchers:

Need ba talaga isurrender ng buyer all the vouchers that he/she availed para lang maconfirm ang appointment?

To MODS: i dont know where to put this. If mali, please delete

Hi everyone,

We recently acquired a salon business and we're giving it a makeover. Sa dating owner, they only use local nail polish brands like Caronia and Bobbie. Some customers ask for Orly and China Glaze, so bumili ako ng ilang polish from the imported brands. Ang suggestion ng staff is to add a fee to the rate, if the customer wants to use Orly or CG polish. The fee is P50 for either hands/feet, P100 for both hands and feet.
Ang tanong ko lang, reasonable ba or should I just make a price increase? Ang rate namin ngayon for basic manicure is P80 and P110 for pedicure.

Thanks!
