^ i agree sis. lagi kasi kami sa ikea the past six months kaya napansin din namin ang price increase. a couple of months ago lang we bought a poang armchair for i think $170. di ko maalala exact amount. but now $190+ na sya. even the hot breakfast which used to be $2.50, $2.95 na ngayon. hay...

ay naku, ako when i feel depressed.. nag iikot me sa ikea, nare refresh yung mind ko & it gives me a reason to think of something else instead na malungkot.... like how nice this particular furniture will look in my flat...
fave ko...yung extendable na toddler bed...

pansin ko, yung price ng mga items ang laki ng tinaas.

sabi na nga ba nag increase sila eh... im not very price conscious (which is bad) pero para sabi ko the last time i was there, parang nag-iba presyo... thanks for posting, it confirmed my suspicion.

fave items ko:

rugs ( i use for my doggies)
beach bag (i use as a bayong for shopping)
kitchen brush
meatballs (walang kamatayan hehe)

we have the blly (?) bookcase at home in the US.  grabe ang bigat pala nun. so unti-unti pagbuhat namin ng pcs to our 2nd floor... ok naman sya, matibay din kasi more than 3 yrs na ata yun.

Mabigat nga yung mga malalaking pieces nila. Ganyan din ginawa namin, tinanggal na lang namin sa box. Although yung samin naman, bed frame. Ang bigat kasi, nasa 2nd floor yung apt namin.

^ Ikea sells meatball sauce powder na naka-pack so that you can make your own at home.  the instruction says you mix the gravy powder with water and cream.

I have to agree with you on that sis.  It's best with the gravy, otherwise, it tastes ordinary.

^ yup! since i didn't have cream at that time when I tried the gravy/sauce, I just added water to it. Turned out ok, it had the same taste and consistency as the one that they serve in the restaurant. Less fat pa!

bumili din ako dati ng frozen meatballs nila.  sabi sakin nung SA, for the gravy mix it with half and half.  eh bopols ako sa kitchen so hindi ko na binili...  i ate the meatballs with ketchup instead. ok naman pero mas ok talaga yung gravy nila.
