Just came back from Polillo Island...Madali lang pumunta dun may mga van na pede tawagan to pick you up from your house to Real, Quezon.Sakay ng lantsa to Polillo Island na mismo. Dami na magagandang resort dun ngayon. We had a great time sa Isla Polillo Beach Resort, Llazer Beach Resort and San Francisco Beach Resort. Wala ng time to go to Balesin, white sand dun. By the way, taga Polillo si hubby pero ito this time din siya nagexplore talaga.
You will never know how far you can go from the point you thought it was the end...

I don't know if you heard the "Luli Island" in Infanta, Quezon na dadaan ka muna sa mga mangroves bago makapunta dun sa beach tapos lumiliit or lumalawak yung space ng beach depende kung high tide or low tide yung dagat.

the last time i went here is 2006 pa..mini-break ko lang which lasted for 2nights/3days ata..had so much fun..sad to say hindi ko na ulit nabalikan, sayang nga [textspeak!] maganda dun pag Pahiyas..stayed with a family friend sa town ng Sariaya so free na yun accomodation ko pero if im not mistaken may hotel na rin dun na pwede tuluyan..

bale naikot ko is city proper ng lucena, konting ikot then nag SM ;D

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

^ Ah! that's Kamay ni Jesus in Lucban Quezon. Whenever i'm in Lucban, parang andun yung feeling na nasa Europe ka.

for the transpo, the best bus company i can recommend is JAC liner dahil sila ang may pinakabago na mga bus :D l

waiting :)

Tinatawag lang nila na luli island kasi lumiliit or lumalaki yung island/piece of land depende kung high or low tide.

kinabuhayan cafe in dolores quezon

i posted this in another topic under weekend get aways

i am recommending kinabuhayan cafe if you want to experience zero-worry atmosphere. because the place is a far cry from city life

kinabuhayan cafe has a website so you check it out but i will describe my visit last week

kinabuhayan cafe (it's not a coffee shop hehe) is situated in a typical barangay, with no signage so lumagpas kami

as soon as you stepped in, you will feel like you are in another world. the "coffee shop" is full of antique-like decor, the table has fresh flowers or a small fountain and the walls are adorned by old decor

then at the other door leading to the "bakuran" is a place composed of kubo and trees and plants and stone and and nature talaga. you see green everywhere. very relaxing

then there are kubo, with no walls and there is a small attic where you will sleep and and dont worry, the native bubong makes a good cover when you sleep naman. and there's mosqutio net, but not the typical one, naiiba and matutuwa ka

in one kubo, there's duyan

the banyo is sobrang ganda, there are plants and stones and designed talaga for the women to feel like you are an enchantress or encantanda

in the evening, there are candles everywhere and i couldn't resist having my pictures taken

for dinner, there are fresh flowers, with candles, not just on the table but at the windows and the floor. grabe. sobrang romantic talaga. you will feel that it's your anniversary with your husband or boyfriend

lunch was in kubli spring. and the spring is private so feeling eva at adan kayo and ang sarap ng tubig, cold and clear. the table for lunch was situated sa spring so you eat while your feet tingled due to the running water of the spring

the food was superb as mentioned many times already. where can you eat tomato with an egg inside? or ulam with flowers sa ibabaw? and not just any flower but a "katuray"? and the katuray was designed pa ha! the food is sobrang dami ang serving. breakfast was served with a fish na 12 hours under the fire. and of course there's coffee na dito mo lang matitikman. according to jay, the owner, it's just coffee with pandan. but when you tasted it, it's better than starbucks. and there's lambanog. purong lambanog or lambanog with melon and others that jay can make

and there's the massage before you sleep. and it was very good

and the the sta lucia trek (be ready for the steps) and the kinabuhayan falls and the cave, be sure to bring a candle or flashlight

jay and his assistant are super accommodating. jay won't accept your goodbye handshake because he prefers a warm hug

and of course, there's onion, the pet pig who is toilet trained who will follow your every step and look at you asking you to scratch his belly. what a very friendly and spoiled pig. onion sleeps on the sofa and he is covered by a blanket.

both jay and ralph love to talk to guests so you feel like you are a family guest and not just a stranger on vacation

like what sis anika said, mura pa rin ba ngayon sa kinabuhayan cafe?

you have to pay for the three meals for 600 pesos each for the privilege of staying overnight for free so that's 1,800 pesos per person

then it's up to you na for the other services

massage is 300pesos per person

for our sta lucia trek, we paid the guide 300pesos only at dalawa na kami nun

for the kinabuhayan falls and the cave, we paid the guide 200pesos only and dalawa na rin kami nun

the travel was more than three hours because of the traffic in slex, by car

if walang traffic, i think less than 3 hours yun, by car

dagdag ko lang pala sa experience ko sa kinabuhayan, while in kubli spring you can see birds. we saw nga a blue bird so bring your camera

then sa kubli spring, they have bamboos too na lumalabas na water and if you stand below it, para kang minamasahe but compared sa mga resorts the water is malamig

sa sta lucia trek naman, at the bottom after more than three hundred steps ay may spring and falls. ang ganda ganda talaga. pero nakakapagod nag steps. pero it's worth it.  bring a container, kasi in some falls, the water is supposed to be sacred and healing so you can give it to your sick friends or the oldies

si onion pala, the pet pig is vegetarian/frutarian

our total expenses is 4,700pesos and dalawa na kami nun

you have to text for reservation because they don't accept walk in

Im from Lucena City too. There is graceland estates and country club, http://www.graceland.com.ph/aboutUs.cfm boating, horseback riding, may villas din, courts, jacuzzi, pools.. maganda magrelax dyan. yun lang, you have to be a member. may condo na sila ngayon na pinagbibili sa loob ng resort.

Magselos ka naman.. Please lang! :D
