baka meron kang copy nung OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate) ni hubby mo. Pakita mo lang yun sa Travel Tax counter along with your marriage certificate para maka-discount ka sa Travel tax. P500 na lang instead of P1620 ang babayaran mo.

Sa same counter (or minsan sa check in counters) or sa Information counter, may mga immigration cards na nakakalat. Pwede ka na kumuha para habang pumipila ka sa check-in pwede mo na fill-up-an.

After you pay travel tax, before you check-in, may visa check na booth infront the check-in counters of Qatar Airways, ready mo lang yung passport mo, yung authenticated visa and yung ticket mo.

After check-in, you have to pay P750 pa pala na Terminal Fee before you reach immigration. After immigration, meron na namang baggage scanner and body scanner. kaya better if wag ka na magsuot ng belt, jacket, complicated shoes (slip-ons or sandals na lang) kase papa tanggal lahat sayo yun. Then hassle susuotin mo na naman. And make sure all your liquids are checked-in. Even the liquid foundations, hand sanitizers, colognes, etc. kase kino confiscate nila.

Some reminders also:
- better go to the airport 2 or more hours before flight sched. kase minsan, haba ng pila sa mga counters. and Qatar Airways closes counters 1 hour before flight. kaya pag na late ka, di ka talaga nila papasakayin. And minsan, super haba ng pila sa immigration. kaya minsan magbo boarding na, nakapila ka pa. kaka stress talaga.
- have all your documents in 1 place -- and keep it in your handbag. minsan kase daming hinihingi ng immigration, depende sa topak nila, so better be ready di ba -- ako i have a clearbook with all the impt documents -- xerox copies and originals of my and hubby's birth certificate, our marriage certificate, xerox of hubby's visa/pataka, company id, passports. Also, have these info ready for filling-up the immigration card - address in Phils and address in Qatar. Phone number in Phils and in Qatar. Passport details.
- weigh your baggage beforehand. 20kg yta ang allowance ng checked-in baggage + 7kg for the hand-carry.

waaahhh!!!! I missed your EB. Super sayang, I've been reading the forum for a month na rin kaso di ako masyadong nakakapunta sa Overseas thread.

Anyway, hi po

Newbie sa Girl Talk pero di naman masyado sa Qatar (1 year na rin). Na-sad talaga ako sa EB kasi sa Al Saad lang naman ako nagwowork

Sana makasama na po ako sa mga susunod na EB.

PS. Ms. Mugz - are you the same lady who has been posting about Weng (tama ba?) yung magaling magrebond sa pinas. I would like to ask her contact number sana, matagal pa naman kami bago magbakasyon pero at least may number na ako

Hello girls!

It was a successful 1st EB for us Gtalkers in Doha last Saturday. There were only 6 of us, plus a very cute little boy, pero ang saya!

Thanks to Sis Honey's Wife with her cutie little boy -- early birds

hahaha i had a great time chatting with you.

Thanks sis Mafee for coming and also to your friend Anne (tama ba, sorry I am really bad with names hehe). It was nice meeting you, neighbor haha!

Sis **My Sweet November**, thanks for coming and for the chika. It was nice meeting you and your hubby na parang shy sha sa amin hehe... sayang di sila nakapag bonding ni hubby ko.

flight ko na next month qatar airways ako, may stop over ng 3hours, sayang kung pwede lang sana makapasok si hubby makapag beso beso lang sana

[textspeak!] sis, san maka attend ako...actually im thinking na magbakasyon muna sa Pinas with my kids by June..baka mga 6 months kami dun.

nabalitaan niyo po ba yung mga 40 (now 38) Pinoy na hindi sinuwleduhan ng employer nila for 5 months? their case is now pending in court. last night we went there to visit them, sobrang nakakaawa sila.. namumulot sila ng mga isdang tinapon sa corniche (pero malinis naman daw yun). but when they seeked for media's help (TFC) daming tumutulong sa kanila for their daily necessities. they badly need our help mga sis, buti mababait pa rin ang mga kababayan natin who are so blessed na tumutulong sa kanila. baka meron sa inyo gusto mag donate, you can visit them sa accommodation nila sa may Mathar Qadeem.

hi mga sis, dito na ko sa doha nung april 23 pa. Sana matuloy EB sa june para makasama ako. malapit lang kami sa royal plaza. grabe naman pala mall dito medyo boring

thank you nga pala sa mga sisters na nag help sakin sa pagkuha ng medical exam at kay sis kai_star about sa airport sa pinas. haay naninibago pa ko sa simoy ng hangin ng mga ibang lahi ewww

BTW mga sis, i read sa newspaper, LULU Hypermart sale daw yung clothes and shoes. Buy 200QR and get 100QR coupon

I haven't been there since they started the sale so di ko alam if worth it.

Sa City Center, naka Savers Specials pa rin Debenhams and Next. Sale din Home Center.

Kaso lang wala pang sweldo eh. LOL as if naman may sweldo ako
