nakakaitim din at nakakapaso ang init and kapag humid, its very hard to breathe. its very different sa init sa pinas. but i guess may transpo naman kayo, from your accommodation to your workplace so you wont be staying long outside to wait for a taxi, unless your're going to a mall or anywhere else, mahirap kasi mag abang ng taxi dyan sa area ng al mamoura.
ah talaga sis? thanks sa information... meron kami service papunta work at pauwi

^hello sis dohamom :D

question naman, how much ang inaabot pag nagdriving lesson sa qatar? ilang lessons usually binibigay nila? mahirap ba pumasa ang babae?

hi sis, i don't know how to answer the rest of your questions, but ito masasagot ko..:)

iba iba ang rate ng dirivng schools dito, and yes, pinaka mahal ang school ng Karwa..but it's worth it. During my time (March 2007) i paid around 2k plus riyals for  2 weeks. shempre mas expensive kung full course. They have 1 day na classroom for the theories, then the rest practical na. Yung length ng lesson depends sa student. Yung iba kahit matagal na nag dadrive sa Pinas, they still opt to get the full course, yung iba naman takes the 1 week or 2 weeks na lesson. Yung ibang matagal na nagdadrive sa PInas, they get too confident during the exam but they fail...so basta remember na lang what the instructor taught you. Hindi porket babae ka ipapasa ka nila agad, and hindi rin porket babae ka ibabagsak ka nila na parang wala kang alam..i think it really depends on your driving skills. Basta if you have done the process smoothly, pasado ka. Ang tip lang sis, kahit matagal ka ng driver sa Pinas, just think na bago ka lang nagdadrive & i-apply mo during the test kung anung natutunan mo sa driving school ..Iba kasi ang driving dito sa Qatar. Hope this helps.

Happy Easter to all GTs in Doha. :)

^thanks sis.  ako kasi nagdadriving lesson na dito sa UAE, i am about to take my signal and assessment test then after road test, kaso baka di nako umabot kasi pauwi na ko next month and parang ayoko rin gumastos ng worth 1,500aed kung babagsak rin lang ako. sayang kasi dagdag ko nalang sa gagastusin ko sa Qatar.

Kaya nga i was thinking if i can just continue my lesson there, kaso di ko lang alam kung saang category ako.  i have seen this post from QL, kaso paano ba nila dinidetermine kung ilang days ang kailangan mo? ikaw ba kusa ang pipili? dito kasi sa UAE pag wala ka license automatic 40 classes ka, pag meron naman pwede ka na sa 20 classes.

Karwa Driving School Number: 4588644

The fee depends on whether you are opting for a short, half or full course.
Short - QR 1200/- (7days)
Half: - QR 2050/- (15 days)
Full - QR 3050/- (30 days)

If you have your native country license you can start from short course.

question po mga sis and bro na based in qatar...

is it possible ba na hindi na mag register sa POEA at OWWA if you got hired directly? if so, pede ba pumunta sa HK then HK to Qatar kung walang POEA, OWWA registration (im sorry i dont know whats it called) my brother was in Qatar for a mo. for a business trip, and at the same time found a Job over there.. the company sponsored his working visa which he will rec. in a few days, kakauwi palang nya sa Pinas and have no time para mag asikaso and he have few days left lang kasi may return ticket na sya to Qatar..

TIA1!

@marssie: alam ko pag may license ka na sa home country mo they will assess you kung gano ka na kagaling mag drive...itetest ka nila kung dapat ba short or full course pa rin ang dapat i-enroll mo. but sa experience ko, kasi Pinoy yung kausap namin dun hindi na ko inassess since sabi ko tagal na ko nagddrive sa Pinas. nung una 1 week lang dapat gusto ko, but my hubby preferred na 15 days yung kuhain ko para talagang maaral ko yung parking..so i was pressured talaga. hahaha! tama ka its way too expensive kaya kabadong kabado ako during my test kasi baka mapagalitan ako ni hubby. ;D

hi blujinx!
yeah pwede yan.  my husband did that too, pero we came straight from Singapore kase.
