Mga sis pasali. Im preggy din and pulikat sa legs is very common.  But I no longer experience it or when it suddenly happens I know what to do. I read about this technique while surfing the net months ago:

Masarap talaga mag-stretch upon waking up in the morning and while still lying in bed. As we strech our body, our toes are naturally pointing outward; this time, try pointing your toes inward as you stretch, kakasanayan din yan and that will avoid early morning cramping.

If cramping happens in the middle of the night because of prolong standing while working or because of strenuous activities during the day, try the same, immediately point your toes inward and the cramping will stop.  I have done it and it works for me, sana sa inyo din mga sis. Prompt remedy lang to syempre, kung may underlying health issues naman ang pamumulikat, your doctor can best address it.










Sometimes "Time Out" should mean "Time for Cuddling."

umiiyak talaga ako dahil dito
mapapabalikwas si hubby kapag nangyayari sa akin to

siguro nga dahil sa pagod at kaka- heals

me too madalas ko na tong nararanas esp. pag yung nakahiga ako..

yung one time i think dahil sa sandals na mataas na suot ko that day

mga sis, advice ng sisterette ko is iikot-ikot lang daw yung hinlalaki natin sa paa pag pinupulikat tayo, pero siyempre hindi na natin maaabot ang mga paa natin pag inatake na ng pulikat so pwede siguro sa mga hubby niyo kayo paikot ng daliri ĂĽ

palagi ko tong naranasan dati lalo na kung kulang ako sa exercise. usually madaling araw pa nangyayari kaya kapag sumakit I just folded my leg tapos press the muscle. Medyo nawawala ang sakit.

isa lang reason nito: kulang sa calcium. since calcium plays a role din in the elasticity and contractility of our mucles.

drink milk or take calcium supplements sisters. :)

si hubby madalas ganito before...di namin alam bakit.yun pala sign na yun na may diabetes siya...now wala na...since may gamot na siya and weekly hilot na...

hello.. ako din madalas pulikatin ngayun napasip tuloy ako kasi ang daily intake ko ng green tea with calamansi eh 4 tall glasses a day. taz di nga ako madalas kumain ng saging. di din ako mahilig sa milk. :'( mukhang sobrang acidic na ko.. waaa..

Iba pa yata yun? Parang ngalay lang yun, tawag sa probinsiya. Ang alam kong pulikat is sa sobrang sakit di mo magalwa kasi parang nagtwist-twist muscle fibers kungbaga. Tama ba?
Madalas kasi ako magkaganito kapag gabi before, bigla na lang ako magigising. Nakakaluha sa sobrang sakit. I don't know kung ano yung nakapagpatigil since di na ako inaatake recently.

^ sis dito sa probinsya namin, "ngimi" ang tawag dun. pangingimi happens kapag halimbawa nadaganan mo yung isang part ng katawan mo ng matagal tapos parang tinutusok na sya na parang nakakakiliti pero masakit.  ;D

yung pulikat, masakit talaga yun at mapapaiyak ka sa sakit. high school pa lang ako nararanasan ko nato. magigising nan lang ako sa hatinggabi o madaling-araw na parang binabanat at binabaluktot yung mga muscles ko. pinapahilot ko lang sa mommy ko. ngayon si hubby na ang sumambot sa duty na yun.  ;D

as far as i can remember, more than 6 months na ata ako di nakakaranas nito. nahilig na rin kasi ako sa pagkain ng saging. tapos inom ng milk sa breakfast pati bago matulog. effective talaga.
