Sabi ng yaya ko dati pag nag asawa daw ako mawawala na yung dysmenorrhea ko! Nag asawa na ako a month ago and mega jerjer pero dysmenorrhea galore parin. I had myself checked years ago and the ob told me there's nothing abnormal naman daaw, no pcos or anything.

I take alaxan 200mg and nawawala after 2 hours. Now I developed some tolerance over the pain killer, i have to take 2 200mg now.

Mejo true to kasi dati halos magfaint na ako sa sobrang sakit and i skip classes na. pero after i gave birth to my daughter, nawala na ang pain, at kung meron man less na lang [textspeak!] but i still take biogesic or ibuprofen kasi mejo masama pa rin ang feeling ko.

my mom and my grandmother told me before na once manganak ako, mawawala na dysmenorrhea ko. unfortunately, it seems that one has to give birth via normal delivery for this statement to be true. i gave birth via CS, and until now i still have dysmenorrhea.  since the pain is still manageable, i try to avoid taking painkillers, kasi parang nasasanay yung body. i just opt for warm compress and avoid taking cold drinks para hindi mag-persist yung pain.

Irregular ako dati and no dysmenorrhea, simula nung naging regular, dun ako nagka dysmenorrhea, kaya pala ko nagka dysmenorrhea kase mas gumagamit na ko ng sanitary napkin, which is yung commercial napkins, na gawa sa recycled paper then bleached para maging white, ang byproduct nung bleaching is yung dioxin, which is bad for our body, yung iba pang sanitary napkin nilalagyan ng silica gel para mawala yung amoy ng blood. When i started using the environmental friendly sanitary napkins na all natural, nalessen yung pain, though hindi pa totally, pero at least naging tolerable.:-)

I also thought that giving birth would lessen my dysmenorrhea. I gave birth last February and I noticed that my dysmenorrhea has been even worse since giving birth. I found out that I have an endometrial polyp which is causing my excessive bleeding and subsequent dysmenorrhea

mother in law also told me once i give birth ma lelessen na yung pain. though still trying parin kami ni hubby to conceive kaya i cant say pa if it's true for me. tolerable naman yung pain sakin. though there were times na super sakit to the point na nagsuka na ko. but it only happened twice or thrice lang and it was a long time ago narin. i never take any meds talaga kasi i noticed humihina yung blood flow. parang na sstop siya. i just avoid wearing tight pants pag 1st-2nd day ko kasi mas grabe yung pain pag masikip suot ko.

sobrang problema ko to from high school till last year! Pag may period ako lagi akong carefull, may dysmenorrhea na nga ako nagseseizure pa ako. Pagdating ng college buti lang dysmenorrhea na lang pero time to time super lala talaga nya and drinking pain killers doesn't work! To the point na nagpupurple lips ko, pale skin, weird yung naririnig ko na sound yung parang naka noise reduction headphones ka, and alam mo na magbblack-out ka anytime soon and YOU WILL. After taking some pills (with rx) nawala na yung ganung symptoms. May konting pain na lang pero di na tulad ng dati na kulang na lang dalhin ako sa hospital!

Girl, this sounds like hypoglycemia to me. Please consult with a doctor. Seizure/tinnitus/blackouts - sobrang consistent with the experience of my boyfriend back in college when he was very busy & super activities pa, na hindi na sya masyadong nakakain, kaya nag lo-lowblood sugar na. There was a time he blacked out in church & he still carries the scar just below his lower lip until now.

@flisha so far ala na naman sya and hopefully forever and ever nang ala hahaha. Pero suggest ni doc is to have an ultrasound baka kasi may cyst pero as of now, ipon muna.

Very irregular ang period ko, pag dumating okay lang naman pero may times din na nagkaka dysmenorrhea din ako pero it usually takes a day or two lang. Pero this time, pang 4th day na pero ang sakit sakit pa rin ng puson ko. I'm so emotionally stressed out din kasi prior to my period and until now. I'm alone pa at wala akong mapagsabihan ng napi-feel ko.

hello sisies.. i have a regular period, and during my high school to college days, napakanormal lang... di ako masyadong nakakaramdam ng pain... meron pero tolerable, but when i was 21, tumitindi na ang sakit, and i have to take pain killers na (mefenamic acid or ibuprofen).. sometimes, i cant move sa sakit, nasususka ako at nahihilo sa pain. i had my check up sa OB, had an ultrasound, found na suspected endometriosis ako, di ako nagpatreat dahil binibigyan ako ng pills and ayoko ng naiisip kong side effects nun (e.g. mood swings, hair growth and weight gain)..i got maried at the age of 24, and still ttc pa rin kami, last august, i had my ex-lap appendectomy, may nakadikit na endometrioma sa appendix ko..im now starting my ivf journey, and di lang pala appendix ko ang may endometrioma, pati left ovary ko and both my fallopians are blocked. i shared my story para sa mga sisies ko na nagseself medicate, if i were you, go to an OB, early treatment para di magprogress.. dysmenorrhea lang sa una, iba na pala... and worst, walang gamot..

i am also experiencing this lalo na pag 1st and 2nd day ng mens ko pero tolerable naman kaya hindi ko iniinuman ng meds. nabawasan din yung pain when i started to use anion pads, ewan ko basta napansin ko hindi na sya masyadong masakit. minsan nga 2nd day ng mens ko no pain, pero as usual medyo heavy ang flow.

It's been a while since I started this thread, i just recently gave birth & im breastfeeding..
If i get to have my period, dun ko mapapatunayan na once you've given birth mawawala na dysmenorrhea lalo pa't through prayers and faith kay God, NSD ako nagdeliver.

Me naman na lessen menstrual cramps ko ever since I took the Charlize. Originally OCP lang yung Charlize pero natuwa ako na benefit din pala niya yung pag lessen ng cramps. Mas okay na to kesa lagi ako mag mefenamic every time may period ako di ba. hehe.
