Any suggestions on where I could buy a good sewing machine? I'm not looking for those highspeed machines that can only do straight stitch. I'm just looking for those consumer machines that have multiple stitches. I saw one before in SM Makati but everytime I check the past few weeks they're out of stock. Any ideas?

i bought my brother sewing machine sa automatic center sa southmall i guess lahat ng branches naman siguro meron. So far im happy with my machine marami syang stitches and the office of brother sewing machine in makati offers free training on how to use it. Although di pa ako nakaka attend na mention lang nila when i called their office. =)

@sis coffeelatte1:to answer your question (thread 1), i bought my singer sewing machine for 10k,natawaran ko pa yun kasi cash. iba price pag charge.

@sis blaise: i bought my singer sewing machine portable type with 10 stitches at abensons trinoma.i'm just not sure kung lahat ng branch me stock. better call them first. very user friendly and the manual is so easy to follow. nakatahi na ako ng blouse ng anak ko.and yung husband ko sya na nag-aalter ng pants nya since napapalitan naman yung needle. HTH

^^if you want free training...you can go for TESDA women Center....i am an alumni of TWC..and now as an assisstant trainor for dressmaking...

hi to all sisses:) i'm new here dito..sobra ako din gusto ko talaga toh dati pa pero ngayon lang ako magkakaroon ng time pero nasa labs ako ng bansa eh.do you suggestion ba na website na may libre pattern..

wala pa talaga ako idea pero meron na ko machine.as in wala pa ko na try pero past learner naman ako. may suggest ba kayo sa akin ano maganda una ko gawin mga sisses:) i hope po may suggest kayo kahit check ko yung meron dito na website na libre mga pattern po tnx a lot:)

^hi sis, what you can do sis is siguro gayahin mo muna yung mga damit mo na simple lang ang yari. tingnan mo yung pagkatabas ng tela at tahi. ganito yung ginawa ko dun sa blouse ng anak ko.ginaya ko lang yung blouse nya na binili namin sa gingersnaps.HTH

I bought my Brother Sewing Machine at the SM Appliance center at Mega Mall July of 2008. I got the one with 15 stitches, the model is XL-5500. It cost around 8k, can't remember because it's my hubby's birthday gift for me. Sobrang ok sya because it has a needle threading system and button holer function. If I remember it right, they also have a model with embroidery function, Innov-Is 700 / NV-700E.
