Cold Porcelain (Air Dry Clay)
« on: October 22, 2012, 07:30:52 pm »
Hi sissies, does anyone here already tried using this? or into this craft?
Cold Porcelain is not really porcelain, it's an air dry clay made of cornstarch, white glue, baby oil and vinegar.. It's called cold porcelain because of its smooth texture/ porcelain like finish when it dries..

i'm new to this kind of clay, but so far, i'm enjoying using it making miniature cupcakes and teapots and i'm planning to make miniature cakes too..

post away sisses kung may gusto kayo i share or if you're intrested in trying this air drying clay.. ;)

^hi sis, it was also my first time in trying to make this recipe, but it turned out very nice and smooth.. and after trying it with some creations, i've never experienced a single crack.. just make sure to knead it properly sis, i've read kasi na kneading plays an important role in making cold porcelain..

..here's the recipe
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup pva glue
2 tbsp baby oil
2 tbsp white vinegar

then i use cetaphil to moisturize my hands when i knead it..  ;)

and sis when you're not using it, wrap it sa cling wrap or ziplock then put it sa airtight container, to prevent it from drying..
