aside from quiapo, you can also check sta. cruz. kaso dun yun sa mga eskinita eh but doon madaming frames and optical shops din. my aunt is an optometrist and dun siya nagpapagawa ng lens. dun na din kami bumibili ng frames. di ko nga lang ma-recommend yung mga transition lenses nila. i got that last year and nasisilaw pa din ako. epal lang.

Swissflex frames are good, too. sobrang gaan at walang red marks sa nose.
Don't judge me by my relatives.

mga sis, where ba makakabili ng frame na almost the same shape as Ray-Ban Wayfarer pero smaller? kasi i need to change my eyeglasses na 'cos it has already been a year. my face shape's slightly round kasi kaya wayfarers look good on me. the problem is hindi ako makahanap ng shop na may ganung design pero i often see it na sa mga celebs like raymond gutierrez, even siobhan magnus of american idol. help naman from those who know.. thanks!

hey guys! if your looking for reasonable eyeglasses go to P. Paterno St. Quiapo. you can find 300-2500 pesos worth of frame. :D

Theres this new big shop sa P. Paterno cor Evangelista with the color Green building, they sell all kinds of frames, from no brands to branded ones.

With regards to the lens they also sell it for reasonable price :D

i have a swissflex frame and i've never been happier. ang gaan kasi ang since silicone siya, hindi masakit pag nakahiga and malambot siya so sumusunod sa shape ng face.

yung sa vision express totoong essilor yung transition and airwear. sila ang may gawa ng transition lenses talaga. mabilis mag transition yung lenses ko - from no tint to dark and back. yung galing sa university belt, mabagal mag transition.

but if price is an issue nga naman, sulit na din siguro magpagawa sa ganon.

yung pinagawa ko sa university belt 8k all in. made to order ang lenses ko kasi mataas ang astigmatism ko so mas mahal talaga than normal. pero chipipay unbranded frame pa yan. yung pinagawa ko sa vision express 20k all in din (12k for the lenses, 8k for the frame), made to order din kasi. very big diff in price pero at least now hindi na sumasakit ang mata at ulo ko dahil sa maling grado.

I have astigmatism sa left eye and on and off siya. Kainis nga eh. kala ko tumaas grade ko tapos ng nagpacheck ayun bumalik lang sa dati. buti nalang stable ang grade ko these past few months,i've had my frames for 6years na ata. Haha got them from an optical shop na kilala namin. 4,500 noon, which i thougt was pricey kasi hindi ko kilala brand, criza. But then through the years super tibay ha and heavy kasi siya. Hehe lenses lang pinapapalit ko. 800 for the multicoated at ideal vision. Never na ako magpapalit ng frames. Madalas nga mga work mates ko sinasabi kung nagpalit ba ako ng frames, eh duh for ilang years yun gamit ko and araw araw ako nakikita. Weird noh? Can't part with my glasses, although i'd prefer na perfect ang vision haha.
