Ink Refill
« on: February 13, 2008, 05:54:14 pm »
is this advisable? I order my HP cartridge online directly at HP so as to make sure it is really orig and no hassle...
i print pictures daily almost around 100 pieces and it is very expensive... for now, I want to consider to have my ink refill, my friends told me it will damage my Printer... my printer is very expensive and i dont want it damaged just coz of an ink... I know HP now considers refilling, but still i want to make sure, any advice? or have you tried this? whats the best refilling station?

I've been using HP printers for over 10 years now and I only had an ink refilled once and never did it again. It damaged my printer; while I saved some money on the ink, I ended up having to buy a new printer later on.

I have an epson CX3700 printer. Sabay sabay naubos yung 4 inks nya. and its so expensive to buy Epson inks for this printer. Can  you please recommend other  ink refilling station in quezon city.

Yung ink for less kc hindi nagrerefill ng Epson CX3700.

Just want to share. Sunday last week nagpa-refill kami s star ink. Sabi mamyang hapon daw balikan. Gosh! Nagagalit na talaga ako. Sabi ko just wait kami ang pupunta diyan. >:(

my dad naman, iba yung ginawa nya.

continuous ink system yun sis. heven't tried it pero i know a lot of people using it. looks okay with them. meron akong alam na nagpri-print ng pictures for really low cost na ganito din ang gamit. ok naman ang quality ng prints. downside lang, it takes time to dry daw unlike the original.

I've heard that ink refills damage the printer in the long run.

Why not try continuous ink system?

We have an HP printer at home and we've been using ink refills for a few years now. The first refill we tried was from ink for less. It didn't damage our printer but the ink refill didn't last as long as an original in cartridge. However, the print quality wasn't so good. It started some text came out faded and there were ink smudges or blots on the margins of the paper. So we switched to the ink refills at this computer shop in park square and we haven't encountered any problems so far. The ink lasts long, no faded or skipping text and no ink blotches on the paper. So far so good!

No no for Ink refill or even continous ink system, the main reasons sa pagkakasira ng printer hindi man sa ngayon, maybe in the long run.

For Epson printers, there are refillable cartriges available. You can buy them at eBay.

I know a lot of people using continuous ink system, but in our experience, nasira Epson printer namin dahil dun.

For me ayoko CIS kasi makalat tignan :P

^ sadly i have HP, i love it better than Epson, though mas magastos lang nga.

I asked ink refilling stations and they don't recommend CIS for colored cartridges, madali daw masira. as for black cartridges OK naman daw. I have yet to prove this.   ;D

^Me too! Love HP better than Epson. Yun brands palang na try ko. Puro nasisira yung Epson namin eh.

I do my own refilling naman sa HP, twice na on our new one, so far so good. ;)
