ako para tipid i plan the party atleast sure ako na maayos lahat, ng bday ng 3yr old son ko kami nagasikaso ni hubs, aince yun mga bisit eh kids no need for invitations na, party hats nila is balloonals na kami nagpalobo, kami din nagluto ng handa ayoko magpacater kasi madaming maduming cater service yun isa na alam ko eh sikat pa pero wag ka after ng event nakatambak ang plates at may magots pa eeekk, ayun  pati yun centerpiece na angrybirds ako yun gumawa ang mahal ng malaking character centerpiece yun ginawa ko 2ft hehe

I personally plan talaga yung birthday and binyag ng 2 boys ko. yung kanilang 1st birthday, talagang every detail masasabi kong akong ako yung mga yun hahaha... from colors, design at arte lahat sa akin nanggaling. malaking tulong din kasi na you plan ahead of time kasi minsan nakahanap ka talaga ng mga murang suppliers para sa event mo.naiisip mo din yung mga detalye na pede mo ng i-DIY kesa i-order mo pa sa ibang suppliers. nung 1st birthday lang naman ako talaga naghanda ng bonga sa kanila pero yung mga sumunod na birthday ay house party na lang but still madami pa din napa WOW kasi nga halatang pinaghandaan, pinagplanuhan at pinag isipan!

with their binyag, hindi ako masydo OC sobra. nagfocus naman ako dito sa food kasi tingin ko ito ang pinaka importanteng aspeto ng event na ito. other details like cake, souvenir, invitation etc etc dapat lang well coordinated ang kulay. yun lang naman ang rule ko. kapag kasi masydo madami kang gustong gawin sa event mo, parang mas nagkahalo halo na yung mga ideas, mas naguguluhan ka ngayon kasi parang lahat gusto mong ilagay at makita sa event mo. focus lang dun sa basics needs para hindi ka malito 

at present I'm now starting to prepare for my bunso 2nd birthday this august. kaya lang hindi pa ako makapag full blast ng planning kasi andito kame sa UAE. stil have to decide kung house party or sa labas since pareho lang din naman ang gastos kung susumahin mo. so siguro ito muna ang pagdedecidan ko till next week para maayos ko na din yung design ng invites at decor na kakailanganin ko after.

how do you reduce the amount of guests? i want a kid's party sana so gusto ko yung kids and their parents lang invited but what if magtampo yung mga oldies?

^last year during M's gymboree party, I only invited those with kids 5yo and below. Hindi na invited other relatives (we're a big family). i think the only oldie relatives we invited were my parents and my lola. they understood it naman since they know it's a children's party and they wont enjoy it. Magpasabi ka na lang that you're having a children's party and you cant invite them. Para at least they wont think you kept them in the dark.

^ ya yung kid lang. or baka pwede mo tawagan o puntahan. tapos you can mention during your convo na ayun nga kids lang invite. sabihin mo, "naku mabobore lang kayo! padalhan ko na lang kayo spaghetti." hahaha. iba kasi nagtatampo but im sure theyll understand.

^^gawin mong ticket style sis, indicate mo kung ilang kiddie at adult seat ang reserved para sa kanila. Ganyan ginagawa ko pag hindi sa house ang party para controlled ang # of guests.
I put "We have reserved 1 kiddie seat & 1 adult seat for you" parang ganyan.

isa pa, how young should the kids be? planning to invite kids who are 1 to 10 years old lang. yung mga 11 and up d na sila kids no? i mean d na nila kinconsider sarili nila as kids diba?

 i haven't tried this yet pero paminsan-minsan may mga well known party suppliers offering deals from groupon sites. why not grab a deal, tipid tip din yun.
