Australia, any input?

i went to sydney and the gold coast a few years ago and i really liked the place. ang problem lang sa australia is maaga mag-close ang commercial establishments. so sa gabi ang lungkot lungkot na ng place. i remember walking the streets of sydney at around 7pm and parang halos wala ng tao. but i still enjoyed my stay in spite of that

l_neveph: Okay na choice naman sila, ganda ng location I chose them over the other hostels because I don't think I'm really into the party hostel (which most of the hostels in the Gold Coast are). Enjoy your Australian trip sis When are you going ba?

eyes828: First, you download the appropriate forms from the immigration website (immi.gov.au ata). Fill in the form, and compile the required documents (birth certificate, employment/enrollment certificate, etc.), then call their embassy hotline to arrange a pick up of your application. The result usually come out in 5-7 days after pick up (unless it's the peak season).

^yeah. during this time, sobrang lamig talaga sa oz i wonder how will i survive if i get there sa ganitong mga panahon. i went there october and the temperature's very unpredictable. the coldness during that time nasuko na ko, what more ngayon? hehe

^it's not that cold yet but colder than usual for april. it's only autumn!.. wait till about june/july when it's proper winter then you'll really be in trouble. heh

queensland should be warmer though. have a good time there!

 My friend ako naka base sa Darwin, Australia, i checked airfare, return ticket tuesday depart and arrival is monday it is around 19,000 sa Tiger airways, i am thinking of Darwin  instead of  Bora, the problem is gaano katagal ba Kumuha ng Australian Visa? Tapos plano ko is after my operation, siguro 2 to 3 days after that, pwede ba yun, 4  days pahinga sa Darwin, payagan kaya ako ng Consul at immigration, kase now lang me may chance na matagal na bakasyon, sa Call Center kase me ngwowork kaya mahirap magfile ng leave dito though my 20 days leave kami, nagamit ko na ang  5.Ano ba mga kailangan pag Australia pareho ba ng US? I have to different asian countries, my plan is set up my schedule for the operation get a certificate,COE,ITR, but i do not have money in the bank it is only around 10,000,i will get also approved leave then baka july  ,.Which is better AFTER MY OPERATION OR AFTER MY OPERATION, my hyperthyrodism ako,MAkati med ang hospital tapos sagot ng company.Thanks

Major operation ba yung gagawin sayo? Kasi yung pupunta ka dun after your operation, baka hindi ka din mag-enjoy and isa pa, mahirap magpagaling in a foreign land. Worse comes to worst, at kelangan mo pa-check up, nasa foreign land ka. Walang insurance at mas mahal.

I've been to Au before, mga 1 1/2 years ago pero sa Sydney at Melbourne. Never got to see Darwin kasi malayo yun, nasa upper part sya ng Australia. Check mo n lang online kung anong makikita dun. Pero from experience, it's a bit hard to sight-see in Au. Kelangan may sasakyan ka. Or taxi, which is expensive. Malaki kasi ang Au and yung mga tourist spots nila magkakalayo.
