spaghetti noodles
bacon
ham
bell pepper
knorr beef cubes
nestle cream
campbells cream of mushroom
dairy cream
chicken breast

pakuluan nyo yung chicken breast then set aside nyo [textspeak!] broth
then yung bacon pirito nyo na rin tapos hiwahiwain then set aside

tunawin yung knorr beef cubes with the margarine. then add the bell pepper, the cream of mushroom and the nestle cream. tapos pag kumulo na lagay nyo [textspeak!] hinimay na chicken breast. and add the chicken broth (wag masyado maraming chicken broth) [textspeak!] tama lang para  thick pa rin yung sauce.

then yung pasta masarap sya pag pinirito nyo pa sa garlic..
then kapag luto na. top with bacon and some cheese.

sarap!

^sis, di ko alam kung pano magiging hindi malapot yung sauce.  siguro bawasan mo ng cream? hehe.  me kasi, i don't put milk in my sauce.  try mo, masarap pa din, i promise you! ;D

here's mine:

cooked pasta (i choose different shapes and i try to use yung mga not so common na pasta.  para madistinguish lang sya from spaghetti with red sauce :) )
crispy bacon bits (for garnishing)
ham (cut into tiny squares)
campbell's cream of mushroom
all-purpose cream
button mushrooms (sliced)
minced garlic (minced)
onion (minced)
butter
salt and pepper to taste

procedure:
saute onion, garlic in butter.  una yung onion para hindi masunog yung garlic.
add ham, tapos pag medyo cooked na ng konti, add mushroom
pag nag-simmer ng konti, add cream of mushroom, tapos all-purpose cream and blend it well.  add water (depending on how thick you'd like your sauce).  let it simmer and pag naaamoy mo na yung nakakagutom na yummy na sauce, you can add salt and water to taste.  tapos simmer pa ulit.  pag naabot mo na yung consistency na gusto mo, it's time to serve it on top of ypur cooked pasta, sprinkle with crispy bacon bits and parmesan cheese (optional, kung kaya pa ng budget). ;D

just a note: you can substitute ham with chicken hotdogs, or chicken fillet.  i try not to use ground beef.  but it's just me, though ;D
No breaking of excursion.

Thanks sa mga carbonara recipes, nagahahanap din ako. : )!
ALthough a tip para mas madulas yung noodles, got this from Rachel Ray's carbonara recipe, yung half-cup of water (galing dun sa pinagpakuluan ng noodles), haluan ng 2 egg-yolks (tanggalin yung egg whites), then ihalo dun sa noodles. Kung ayaw nyo naman na masyado madulas, i-half nyo na lang recipe. Tried it at home & ok naman.
Wala lang pag natype-an nyong gawin, : )!
Although di ko kasi type yung recipe nya na my white wine.

my carbonara is the basic one...with the key ingredients of pasta, cream and eggs, eggs and eggs!;)

i also put in some bacon, lots of oregano, parsley, bay leaf, nutmeg and parmesan...oh and some green peas:)

so, i cook the bacon until the fat comes out and i use the oil to sautee my onions and garlic..add a little butter...

cook the pasta...

combine the cream and the egg yolks...add in the sauteed ingridients...

drain the pasta, put it back in the sauce pan and add the sauce..voila!

hi there sis!  for a kilo of pasta, i use 3 cans of cream of mushroom and 1 can of all-purpose cream.  yung ham ko, usually, half-kilo din. 1 can of button mushroom.  yung onion and garlic, depende sa gusto mo, yung tama lang.  like 1 medium-sized onion and maybe 6 garlic cloves(cloves nga ba tawag dun? hehe. basta yung pinipilas pa fom the garlic mismo.) and salt and pepper to taste (depende na din sa yo)

here's one recipe that is actually close if not is actually how carbonara should be cooked.. it is actually a worker's dish back in italy.. these is how they made it since they are hurrying up to go to work or either finish lunch and continue working to earn their daily wages.. try it.. masarap sha!!

SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA

1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
3 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
3 large eggs
3/4 cup chicken broth
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
12 ounces whole-wheat spaghetti
8 ounces broccolini, about 2 1/2 cups, stem ends trimmed, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan

Put a large pot of water on to boil for cooking pasta. Also bring about 1 inch of water to a gentle simmer in the bottom of a double boiler.

Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add prosciutto and cook, stirring often, until heated through, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and crushed red pepper; cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Remove from heat.

Whisk eggs, broth and pepper in the top of the double boiler to combine. Set over the simmering water in the bottom of the double boiler and cook, whisking constantly in a slow, steady, figure-eight motion, until the sauce steams and thickens enough to coat a metal spoon, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the top pan from the heat and whisk the sauce rapidly so it does not continue to curdle.

Meanwhile, cook pasta in the boiling water, stirring often, for 5 minutes. Drop in broccolini and cook until the pasta is tender but firm, 4 to 6 minutes more. Drain and place in a large bowl. Add the egg sauce, the prosciutto mixture and cheese; toss to coat well.

...And when I hold him I won`t let him let me go, no, no, no..no more running far and wide
I`m gonna stay right by his side, he`s my laughter, my lover, my life
he`s my sunlight!!!
