This thread will serve both buyers and sellers in connection to questionable practices occurring in GirlTalk’s For Sale forum. Reporting a dishonest activity will help us gather information, promote security and awareness among GirlTalkers and preserve the harmony and order of our marketplace.

In keeping with good order and proper conduct, your reports will now follow a specific format. This is to keep the information in this thread as factual, informative, and helpful as possible.

INCIDENT REPORT

Here are the guidelines for filing an Incident Report:

Only transactions directly related to For Sale should be reported on this thread. Personal transactions, those that originated in the PM or offline should not be posted here.

1. Your message should have all of the following information:
- USERNAME of the person you are reporting
- URL of the thread where the dispute originated
- SUMMARY DESCRIPTION of what happened to the transaction. Provide specific details like date, time and meet-up location to support your claim. Be brief and to the point.
- STATUS of transaction as of report time
- PRAYER (how you want us to help you)

2. You should provide a summary of your own experience only. Stick to what you have experienced, not what you have heard, been told or have read. We will not entertain and will remove secondhand reports, those that are posted in behalf of somebody else.

3. Your report must be kept civil, specific and most of all, factual. Avoid irrelevant details that may cause misinterpretation and unnecessary hostility among GirlTalkers.

4. You should provide supporting documents like a screenshot of:
- Courier waybills or any confirmation of goods sent or delivered
- Scanned payment documents
- Picture of goods/item received in bad condition

5. Make sure that the original complaint shall include every allegation you wish to make against the seller.  During the dispute resolution, no other allegations shall be tried except those which are raised in the original complaint.

REPLY TO INCIDENT REPORT

The purpose of replying to an incident report is to set facts straight and provide a better insight to the situation. It is not meant to aggravate the issue further. As a respondent to the reported claims and if you wish to post a reply in your defense, this is the format you should follow:

1. State the terms of your transaction by giving particulars
- as you have provided in your thread
- as you have discussed with the other party in private

2. In your own words, provide a SUMMARY DESCRIPTION of what happened to the transaction, indicating your ADMISSION or DENIAL to the claims reported.
- if possible, address the claims point by point and state whether you admit or deny this.
- foregoing a denial means you agree and admit to the claims reported

3. Provide screenshot of supporting documents, if any:
- Courier waybills or any confirmation of goods sent or delivered
- Scanned payment documents
- Picture of goods/item received in bad condition

4. State any measures you have undertaken to remedy said unsuccessful transaction.

Replies must be made within seven (7) days the initial report was made. Failure to answer the complaint within the stated period shall be a ground to declare the seller in default, and the complaint shall be tried despite the respondent's absence.  Extensions shall be allowed only on valid and declared grounds.  No request for extensions shall be entertained after the period stated has passed. In effect, respondent is given the period between the 7th and 30th days to settle everything with the complainant.

The parties involved are answerable for the validity of information he/she provides. On the other hand, the absence of any supporting document may prevent the satisfactory resolution of a case.

Moderator Action:
Upon the filing of report and replies, the moderators will:
  • Determine the deadline for compliance: e.g. Sellers must be able to deliver goods/items in 30 days; buyers must be able to settle payment in 30 days. The deadline set will be at the discretion of the moderator.
  • In case of default, the thread/s may be locked, with a warning on the subject header (e.g."TOPIC CLOSED: Failure of Transaction") and as reference, the moderator will provide a link to the Incident Report.
  • Parties with pending reports and transactions unresolved will NOT be allowed to post a new topic under For Sale. If a new topic has been posted, it will be removed with or without notice.

Any penalties that will be imposed shall be intra-board, and shall depend on the gravity of the offense.  Such penalties shall include but is not limited to:
- The suspension of the erring party's account;
- The banning of the erring party's account;
- The revocation of the erring party's selling privileges;
- A public declaration within these pages that the erring party has been proven to have committed serious offenses relevant to his/her selling practices.


OTHER PARTIES

Persons not related to the incident may post comments provided they are polite, useful to the case and most of all, factual. Irrelevant, especially idle or “usyoso” comments that do not help in any way will be taken off. Trolling and other forms of disruption will not be tolerated.

Moderator Action:
Members who post careless and disruptive comments will be sanctioned with a warning. The normal penalty system for warnings received will be sustained in this case.

Finally, this thread only serves as an information tool. Any decision that shall be made by this body shall be executory within the forum alone.  The administrators, moderators and staff of the forum shall not be responsible for any prayers pertaining to matters outside of the boards.  The decision shall not be a bar to the filing of a civil or criminal case against the erring party. For scams and dishonest individuals to be prosecuted, please course them to the proper authorities.

A reminder to all to observe the format of reporting. To state it bluntly, we came up with this topic to steer you away from the disorganized reporting and chatter that permeated the previous thread.

Do you want us to help you? If yes, then please allow us to help you by posting a report with the requested details. And to those not involved in the incidents, kindly resist the urge to impart irrelevant and unnecessary comments. They are noise that will be deleted by the moderator.

Summary:

Complainant paid the seller the amount of P2,300 as compensation for a bottle of perfume (Escada Island Kiss-100 ml) which the seller promised to deliver from Hong Kong.  Seller hinted that vacation/trip with her boyfriend will be two weeks only and item will be shipped immediately upon her return to Manila.

Deal was initiated by the seller  last April thru a thread in the For Sale Forum about "Pabili in Hongkong"  Payment was made when the seller was already in Hong Kong on April 20 thru GCash.  Amount paid for was for FULL   amount already which includes shipping.

After some exchanges, Complainant noticed that seller was making a lot of excuses to explain her failure to deliver the item.  Such "excuses" included the seller's assumption of the workload of her boyfriend's secretary who had a miscarriage, a trip to Thailand with her boyfriend which was extended due to business, a side trip to Macau, further extension of stay because of preparation for their engagement party, failure to ship the items with other deliverables, etc.

Last July 8, seller assured the Complainant that the item was already shipped, and that delivery should be expected within a week from then. That was also the last communication from seller.

Previous communications were thru Girltalk PM, Globe to Globe cellphone, HKG Cellphone (once only) and Chikka.  Seller has ceased to be a member of the GirlTalk community since early this month (July) on her request.  Globe and Hongkong cellphones can't be reached.  Seller claims she's already paying too much for roaming charges that's why she uses Chikka.  Followups to Chikka always return with messages that she is not online.

Seller mentioned before that she is a callcenter agent in one company based in Buendia, Makati.  Complainant decided to go there last Friday night (July 21) but no one with a name like hers is an employee of said call center.

Complaint was filed July 24.

Status of Transaction: Payment has been made; item has yet to be delivered.

Prayer:  Delivery of item or return of money.

Summary:


Complainant inquired about the seller's offer to procure some Duromine tablets from a lenient drugstore.  Duromine is a medicine used to combat obesity, but it is known to have some harmful side effects, hence its status as a discontinued drug in a lot of countries, and as a prescription drug in the Philippines.

Complainant and seller used to text each other regularly before payment was sent.  Seller managed to win complainant's trust.

Last May 3, Complainant sent the seller the amount of P2,700 to cover for two packs of Duromine at P1,300 each, as well as the P100 shipping cost.  Payment was coursed through Gcash. Seller's Gcash number is 09154052540.

Communication lines between the parties bogged down after payment was made.

Complainant tried to contact the seller regularly regarding the status of her order, but was only met with "excuses." Too much excuses. Other alibis are same as what she had said to other gtalkers whom she had lied also.

On June 4, a member with the nick Japzlady offered to buy out what the Complainant has ordered from the seller.  Japzlady offered P3,000 for the 2 packs, and suggested that once deposit was made on the Complainant's account on June 10, the seller should instead deliver the item to Japzlady. After the agreed date, the complainant didn't hear anything from that Japzlady anymore.

Last June 22, orangetiger pm'ed the complainant to inform her that the following morning that day was her flight to HK.

Sometime within that period, a member named Star_Fire likewise sent a PM to the complainant defending orangetiger.

Due to some investigations, it was later on discovered that Orangetiger, Japzlady, Star_Fire and Posh_Baby are one and the same person. The given personal infos of the seller were found out to be all untrue, including her excuses and stories about HK.. The cell numbers that she used in texting the complainant before, were now all unattended.

It's been three months now since the complainant sent the money to the seller.

Status of Transaction:
Payment has been made; items have yet to be delivered

Prayer:  Return of money

Summary:

Complainant paid the seller the amount of P1,500 as payment for cosmetics which the seller promised to buy at Sasa Hong Kong.  Seller promised to deliver the items within two weeks after her trip to hk.

Deal was initiated by the seller last April thru a thread in the For Sale Forum. Payment was made when the seller was "supposed" to be already in Hong Kong on April thru GCash (forgot the exact date).  Amount paid for was for initial deposit since the exact prices of the items were still not known.  About a week later, the seller texted saying she needed to deposit Php350 gcash payment to a certain gt member. The seller asked the complainant if she can deposit php350 to her gcash since she couldn't ask her brother's help to deposit gcash money. All the payments were done thru gcash. Seller's Gcash number is 09154052540.

Communication thru globe texts, ym, and chikka was still very much intact between the seller and complainant. On the first week of june, the complainant informed the seller that she is bound to go to macau, hongkong, and shenzhen on a family trip one june 23-27 and asked if the seller had already bought the items. she told the complainant that the items were already on hand.

Days before going to hk, the complainant received a pm from a certain posh_baby asking if she can buy her at sasa. The complainant noticed that posh_baby and starfire started a similar thread for those wanting to make online purchases at sasa hk. The complainant pm'd her that she can only buy some items due to limited time. From june27-29, the complainant had been texting orange_tiger regarding the status of her orders but to no avail. On the same day, a certain 09178871417 also texted the complainant saying that he's the brother of lhei (orangetiger) asking if the seller is already home and promised to send the package on the coming week. 

These are the facts revealed:
- orange_tiger, posh_baby, and "brother" are one and the same>> posh_baby had met up with a fellow gt (kikay_gurl) since she ordered various sasa items from her.  The items matched exactly what the complainant had ordered with orange_tiger last april. orange_tiger had been communicating with a fellow gt (moondust) regarding her shiseido foundation order from her using the no. 09178871417. they were supposed to meet up on the first week of july- but orange_tiger decided to let moondust ship the items-it turned out the name and add. matched exactly that of the complainant.
- orange_tiger is not in hongkong at that time the brother insisted she was. this was checked thru the bureau of immigration with the name ma. lalaine buenaventura, who is orange_tiger.
- orange_tiger's cell no. has not been in globe roaming throughout the whole time she insisted she was out of the country.
- first week of july, lhei deleted the seller from her friendster account for no reason at all. Alongside this, orange_tiger had already deleted her gt account and posts.  Guilty.

Finally, the "lhei" using the no. 09178871417 texted the seller that the package will really arrive on the 2nd wk of july ONLY after the complainant threatened to file charges. The complainant paid the seller her balance of php400 through gcash last july12. Last communication from the seller was last july11. 

Status of Transaction: All the orders have been delivered.

Prayer:  Delivery of the items due to fellow gt's.

Seller had not answered any messages since then. It is the seller's job to inform the buyers about the status of orders especially if it has been delayed for weeks. Her number is 09162146283 and complainant has her home address. Complainant has relatives in her area (Zamboanga) and will have them extract money or goods from seller if no immediate action is made..

Cargo lft 2day.Wil update u guys pag dumating na here and il send ur packages asap.Tnx.thealicious of girltalk. Sent her a few messages after but no answer. Payment for the item has been paid immediately and in full with complete trust on the seller.

Summary

Complainant ordered a pack of Shiseido Benefiance set by looking at sasa.com. Paid star_fire
through G-Cash 50% of the whole amount (2437.218 including advance interest of 5%) because
we are going to use her credit card. When the items arrived, she told me that the Phil Post office charge her for the items and that she has to divide the charge from among us.  I agreed.  I asked for meet up at Gateway to get my items.  Paid 1,700 with no receipt. I paid her a total of 2,900 including the Phil Post charge. I dont mind as long as I have all my items. But a Shiseido softener is missing, called her and she told me that it was in the product alert and it will arrive in two weeks, that it is already included in my
payments, and we'll meet again at Gateway.  I waited, but it's almost a month now.  Tried calling her at the # she provided but both are off or somehow disconnected..09178871417  09062215063.

I didnt keep the GCash payment [textspeak!] for her full name, all I know is she's from Marikina and she's a Junior GT
and she agreed for meet-up and so I thought there's no way not to trust her fully.

Summary:

Complainant ordered a pair of skinny jeans from the seller. Complainant sent 695.00php as payment thereof through her g-cash account (as evidenced by the globe receipt dated July 15, Saturday). As per agreement after payment of the cash on or before July 14, 2006 (one day was extended for my benefit), the goods will be delivered asap.  However, on July 16, she texted that the cargo has not yet arrived and that  she will immediately update us of its arrival for immediate delivery to the buyers. Several days after, demands were made through texts and calls yet no reply was made. The buyer is so anxious about the matter.

Status of Transaction: No pair of jeans have been delivered; No reply to queries; Seller can't be reached

Received a [textspeak!] after that stating.."Sis m at work.  Maybe if by monday wala un item mo, refund q un price ng item mo. Xenxa na di q masagot [textspeak!] m." Monday, received a [textspeak!] from starfire, "I'll be sending gcash 2 u 2nyt." Later on that day, true to her word, got my refund.

Status of Transaction: Refund was given

Last Thursday 8/17, Complainant paid P1500.00 to -cee- thru gcash for a lot of Chanel brushes ((http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=12171475&uid=6199233). We transacted through cellphone (09164556102) since it was posted on her picturetrail account (http://www.picturetrail.com/chocogaga). She acknowledged receipt of my payment and she said she will ship the items the next day (Friday 8/18). I told her to pls text me the shipping details once sent. However I didn't receive a text from her on Friday, and i was too busy to follow up if she did send the items already. Saturday 8/19, i texted her if she shipped out the brushes na. I didn't get a reply, so i continued to text her a few more times to no avail. I decided to call her but her cellphone is off (out of reach). Until now, i haven't been able to contact her.

Unfortunately, I accidentally erased my gcash text message (where her name appears) so i don't have her name. I just remembered it started with a letter C (parang Cheryl or something like that).

Status of Transaction: Haven't received anything as of yet; Seller cannot be reached

I don't know if my complaint will still prosper because our transaction happened way back on October 2005. My first item that i bought from her was a NARS Malibu.I have received the item altough it was delayed for more than a week. Because of this, i assume that she is a trustworthy seller.
She was the one who texted me on October 13, 2005 using her cel # 09175014699 and here's her text which i have managed pala to saved on my old cellphone Sis i'll be posting new items...All slightly used bka ur interested. Shue Uemura White Recovery face powder with refillable compact-bought for 3 K (1000), estee lauder tender blush in wild rose- 1,500 (1000), benefit lemin aid- 1,400 (600).
D shade is 764 best seller sa Philippines (med-fair)...Sis i used this mga 5x lang talaga..., i have sample lancome eyeshadow lang eh. I could give you that for free if you will get some pa.I'm about to leave the country by the end of October kaya i'm selling na the cosmetics that i don't use much.

So, in short i paid for the Shu White Recovery face powder thru a bank (carla danta,bpi acct: 1739030893,ayala ave branch), P 1,000.00 after 3 days. Although i don't know if i can  still find my deposit slip.
Then i keep on following up na the item to her a couple of times, and she has many excuses already like she wasn't able to get out of the house or she was late in sending the items or claiming that the courier company sent her back the item.
Another text that i have save was this one dated October 27, 2005 when i was ff up my Shu. Feline texted : Mejo m nt trusting OCS na talaga--I'll try sending thru Air 21.

I've tried calling her, pming her,texting her and even posting on her thread before. She said that she was leaving na for Dubai.And one time (middle of this year only)when i saw her name browsing thru Beauty Bazaar thread at the same time that i was, i suddenly post a note "Attention Feline" but i deleted it after i think she has already read it.

I made this compalaint after i saw that we have a thread na for it.Although i have given up na actually after a month.That was when i realized that i was scammed by her.

Status of Transaction: Haven't received anything as of yet, she didn't pm,text or call me or anything

Prayer: Delivery of goods or refund of money or just as a warning to others because she is still active on GT

Summary:

Last Thursday 8/17, Complainant paid P1500.00 to -cee- thru gcash for a lot of Chanel brushes ((http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=12171475&uid=6199233). We transacted through cellphone (09164556102) since it was posted on her picturetrail account (http://www.picturetrail.com/chocogaga). She acknowledged receipt of my payment and she said she will ship the items the next day (Friday 8/18). I told her to pls text me the shipping details once sent. However I didn't receive a text from her on Friday, and i was too busy to follow up if she did send the items already. Saturday 8/19, i texted her if she shipped out the brushes na. I didn't get a reply, so i continued to text her a few more times to no avail. I decided to call her but her cellphone is off (out of reach). Until now, i haven't been able to contact her.

Unfortunately, I accidentally erased my gcash text message (where her name appears) so i don't have her name. I just remembered it started with a letter C (parang Cheryl or something like that).

Status of Transaction: Haven't received anything as of yet; Seller cannot be reached

Prayer: Delivery of goods or refund of money

Summary:
As soon as -cee- posted the thread (8-16, I believe) regarding a lot of Chanel brushes (with zero views at the time), complainant immediately messaged her expressing interest inthe brushes. After just one reply, complainant requested to have the brushes reserved.

Last Thursday 8/17, complainant received a text message from -cee- regarding a lot of Chanel brushes ((http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=12171475&uid=6199233). she agreed to wait for payment until Sunday as requested by complainant.

However, after several attempts to get the complete name and address of -cee-, she no longer replied. Complainant wanted her details prior to sending Gcash due to a warning given by a fellow GT about -cee-'s unresponsiveness.

Status of Transaction: complainant considers it null and void

Prayer: approriate warning for other GTs who might transact with -cee-

Status:  Finally, money was refunded after 4 months!  Partial Aug 12 and full payment on August 17.
