What short course/s should I take to transition into a career in Business Analysis?

I'm am an engineering graduate and is very familiar with process and solution documentation through cross-functional flowcharts and writing. I also have the soft skills for the job but I'm still finding it hard to get this job.  Will it help to enroll in an IT course? Which course?

I need your help esp. from those who've had a similar experience. TIA :)

I've been working for years now, and though may trainings din within the company, mas okay din siguro kung may baon akong extra skills. mostly BPO napapasukan ko eh, Business Ad grad ako pero balak ko magshift sa IT. San ba okay magstart? Nagbackread ako and mukhang okay to start with PLF tama ba? ;)

Whoop. May ganito palang thread.

Planning on taking short courses. Initially sa UP ITTC sana... Yung 1 year program nila is 5 months na lang, correct me if I'm wrong. Pero it costs about 60k+ tapos full time pa so dapat talaga me budget ka for that, pero maganda ang feedback, karamihan daw e nakapunta sa Japan.

Plano ko now humabol sa October classes for PLF ng MFI. Di kasi IT-related ang course ko, as in malayong malayo, so basics muna. Anybody here who plans on shifting din or taking short courses? :)

Up! :D Mag shift ako from Nursing (undergrad, 2 years) to Web Design (eto na i-pursue ko Promise!).

Saan ba maganda mag start, as in from scratch?

1. First Academy of Computer Arts - Web Design Track Course
2. Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI) - Seminar: Web Design Fundamentals Course
3. MFI - Anong course ba pasok yung Web Design doon? Sa Web Development?

Hi Anje,

If you are gearing towards web designing, the short courses from First Academy (FACA) might be your best option. Mas madami kasi sila inputs skills wise specially regarding softwares. With PCCI kasi talagang more on seminar yun set-up. I have attended short courses on both and I must say mas hands on ang training sa FACA.

Good luck. ;)

Kung hanap is affordable, meron along Espana, bago mag welcome rotonda, yung Electron.

^ hi sis. computer course grad ka ba? like comp sci or engineering. if di ka computer course grad sis, and if you want to go into programming, i strongly suggest yung mga program logic formulation (PLF) courses. foundation kasi ng programming ang logic formulation. regardless of the programming language (like Java, Cobol, etc) na gagamitin mo, you need to have a good foundation sa logic formulation. just my two cents worth sis ha... having been a programmer before (shifted to software testing now...)..
