Goodbye, Davao!
We’re at the airport, waiting to board, and I’m feeling kind of sick. We ate so much these past three days and I am hating the fact that I haven’t worked out at all this week. We were able to squeeze in a short trip to Paradise Island this morning, and my grand plan was to jog on the shore. But since it was high tide, there was no shoreline to speak of. I also wanted to kayak, but for some reason, that plan didn’t push through either.

We got to go to the Crocodile Farm, and it was jarring to see how huge those creatures are. I thought I had a soft spot for animals that could eat me or snap me in half with one whack of a paw (tigers, lions, polar bears), but coming face to face with a croc just terrified me. They looked so sinister. And not cuddly at all.

Boarding now. Next time I blog will be from good ol’ Manila!
