Busy, Busy, Busy
I’ve got this work-related trip next week, and while I was looking forward to it when it was first planned, I’m just feeling so stressed now! Since we’ll be gone for three whole days, we’ve had to cram a lot of work into the days before we leave, and a lot of other things had to be pushed to when we get back. Yesterday, I had a 12-hour day, and today was just filled with shoots, pullouts, finalizing reservations, encashing checks, and other non-fun stuff that comes with traveling.
And then there’s the packing part. Our house is undergoing a bit of a makeover, so everything’s a mess. (I HATE living in a messy house! I had to go through this 10 years ago when we had a major renovation.) I am literally living out of a suitcase–all my clothes were stuffed into big suitcases while my cabinets are being repainted. Every day, I have to dig through these suitcases to find an outfit. So packing? Not on my top ten list of fun activities right now.
