blogging in lowercase
this year, i’ve resolved to try out as many new things as i can. i tend to get wound up over stuff like deadlines, letter styles, and punctuations so i’m being brave today by pre-dating this post and doing away with uppercase concerns. (it’s part of my job.) but, sorry, i just can’t seem to let go of the punctuations. not yet anyway.
hey, i feel the adrenaline rush already. i could get used to this. in fact, i’ll blog in lowercase from now on. (except when i’m referring to God, Jesus, Daniel Craig, and Charlie Brown.) but i’ll only pre-date my blog post just this once. i promise.
happiness, they say, comes in small doses. and it looks like i’ll be getting a lot of my small doses from this. at least, it comes super cheap and doesn’t damage my brain cells.
blogging in lowercase does have shades of ee cummings to it, but don’t you think that getting too used to it could actually affect your writing in the long term? just a thought.
PS - I tried writing out my comment in lowercase above and it was a bit of a struggle. =)

I used to blog and respond to friends’ emails in lowercase (because of ee cummings) until last year when I noticed that most of the blogs I read and enjoy are in “proper” writing.
I actually tried to edit all my old posts, but of course it was too much work.

Try colors and styles! That’ll blow your mind, I bet. It might be too early for smiley faces eh?
