Dating in Manila
Dating in Manila is one of the challenges that I face inspite of the fact that I get to be invited at parties and events. An average of four events in a week and sometimes a night that I need to be at, and three events to write about. The social circuit highway is static which is an opportunity to find a date by meeting diverse people.
However in my case, if I will bring a date along with me without a doubt I will be the worst person to be with, since I will be constantly socializing, taking photos and buzzing like a bee as part of documenting the event. Whoever is with me in the end will be annoyed and feel ignored.
And with this busy night schedule aside from my day job as the Editor of Circuit Magazine, if I intend to proactively seek for a date, it would be best that he takes me out of the city and spend a quiet time by the beach, but not Boracay. And if I am really determined to pursue this person, a trip to La Union to learn how to surf will not make me think twice, I’m sure.
But one of the perks of being invited is the opportunity to witness Kiehl’s opening here in Manila. At long last, one of the most awaited and highly anticipated cosmetic brands has finally reached the Philippine shores. Kiehl’s, which has been operating since 1851, made its grand launch at Greenbelt 5, where guests came dressed in their New York Glam outfit. The shop in Manila is one of the flagship stores in Asia. The 40 square meter space is built with the newest design concept and is poised as Kiehl’s one-stop shop. Now, beauty aficionados can experience Kiehl’s highly effective homeopathic and herbal remedies.
