Back From the Dead
Or the near-dead, as is the case for those of us who work in media, when there’s a long weekend looming in the horizon. Sure, they’re a welcome respite, but these holidays do take away precious days from the magazine work cycle. The result? We kill ourselves working late and losing sleep just to get a leg up on deadlines—so that really, all we can do during the long weekend is…sleep.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt to catch up on your zzzzs against this paradise backdrop…

No matter how many times you’ve been there or have taken photos, how can you resist not taking yet another one?

Play a game of volleyball…

Or just slather on the tan amplifier and bake (but shroud the face in sunblock and a hat!)

Ice-cold pandan water, oatmeal raisin cookies and refreshing cold towels at your disposal…

Even a cloudy sunset is photo-worthy

If I could spend all my long weekends here,
Then I would gladly die of exhaustion at the office anytime.
How about you? When were you here last?
I think I was there the same time you were, we just didn’t run into each other!

Oh I love tanning at Discov. That area of Bora is truly a piece of paradise after all the stress of work and traffic here in Metro. Sigh… Can’t wait for another vacation.

Is that Discovery Shores? Had a great New Year there with my family. I’m thinking I’ve been spoiled and don’t want to stay anywhere else in Boracay from hereon.
