Procrastination is scary!
To procrastinate is a practice that always haunts me. Every time I surrender to this temptation, without a doubt, those sleepless nights and dark eye circles would go on warring mode. The mind torture is worse than a nagging mother or lover, and so are the dreadful tossing and turning in bed due to realizing that I should have done it sooner. The big and capital “L” flashing on my forehead is a dreadful sign of guilt.
I believe we live in borrowed time and must take every opportunity to make the most of it. It is important that we be diligent with our responsibilities and act on our duties to achieve a sound personality.
However, I sometimes think that the simplest way to avoid this practice is to keep in mind that by you always have to act on every opportunity that comes your way before it’s too late. Forget about the ‘mañana’ habit. If you act now, then it’s a way to realize that half of your journey is completed. As they say, strike the iron while it’s hot and the golden chance knocks only once, so carpe diem.
Recently, I was invited to witness the unveiling of the latest holiday collection of Plain & Prints. The design fusion of urban modernistic feel with aristocratic elegance was a twist from the expected. It was also the launch of the new outlet in Trinoma, which was graced by fashion icon Gretchen Barretto who looked confident and smart.
