Cat Wisdom

Sasser offers dapper though not-so-sage advice for some vexing human issues. Well, sometimes he knows more than I do! Here are a few insights that the mommacat has gained from raising a cat!

Loneliness

Unless you have nine lives, life is

too short to live in loneliness! There are great things in your life if you

look hard enough. Look forward to the blessings each day brings.

            ► Job-related Stress

Beat it with music and a cat on the

lap. Bring Fuzzface to work and tell the boss your cat suffers from chronic

knowledge hunger.

            ► Not Getting

Anywhere

Leave ‘em lazybones behind. If you

keep walking you'll definitely get somewhere.

            ► External Noise

If you’ve had enough of that, tell

your fluffhead friends to go for a walk. You'll be OK.

            ► Litter Wisdom

You can scrape up enough sand to

build little molehills, but never mountains where they're not due.

            ► Can't run the house

Adopt a cat to make the house rules

for you. No doubt you'll be amazed at how much running you'll be doing in no

time.

            ► Showing Affection

This doesn’t mean you’ll put each

and every emotion on display. It just means that you can shine the spotlight on

those feelings that you want others to see, while hiding the rest.

            ► Losing Someone

Don’t sweat doing the potty stuff,

sweetie. If you lose him, that means you don’t need him! Clear out the old to

make way for the new. That's how you attain nine lives.

            ► Bad Love

Oops, you caught me at my

toilet, but that’s OK.

Seriously, there's no such

thing as a sweet lemon so don't turn into one. A bad fish can't help but smell

fishy. Hand him to me and I’ll fix him up good for you!
