Before you head off to the island paradise of your choice, however, there's one important thing you have to concern yourself with: finding the right swimsuit! But picking out a suit isn't the easiest thing in the world, especially with all the gorgeous options out there. Our suggestion? Harnessing your personality to find the ideal style.

So will it be the tankini, the high-waist swimsuit, the bikini, or the maillot? Take this quiz to find out!

1 .) What are the elements of your typical summer outfit?
  1. A mini dress and colorful flip flops
  2. A fresh white shirt, belted tailored shorts, and loafers
  3. A strapless maxi dress and metallic flat sandals
  4. A sleeveless buttondown knotted at the waist and printed shorts
2 .) What kind of scent would you spritz on during the hot months?
  1. Something zesty and juicy, with hints of lemon and grapefruit

  2. I watch what I eat and go for daily jogs around the village—I often invite a friend so I'm more motivated.
  3. By going on a detox diet—no pain, no gain, right?
  4. I like dance-related activities like Zumba, hip hop, and even pole dancing—the crazier, the better!
5 .) Which of the country's hotspots would you definitely visit this summer?
  1. Boracay–I’d party and dance the night away with my friends. Who knows, I might even meet a cute boy or two!
  2. Vigan–there's something romantic about walking through the cobbled streets and revisiting our colonial past.
  3. Amanpulo–it's the ultimate escape for luxury and relaxation.
  4. Sagada–I’d love to explore the caves and to see the hanging coffins.
6 .) What style of sunglasses would you don to shield your eyes from the sun's rays?
  1. Round sunglasses with pastel frames—so cute!
  2. You can't go wrong with wayfarers.
  3. A designer oversized style a la Jackie O.
  4. Retro-inspired cat eye sunglasses
7 .) When you and your friends go on out-of-town trips, what task do you usually take on?
  1. Devising all sorts of fun activities. Then again, your infectious enthusiasm alone is enough for everyone to enjoy themselves!
  2. Spearheading all the meal preparations—only you are reliable enough to make sure the gang doesn't survive on just junk food and alcohol.
  3. Bartending—your fine palate and extensive knowledge of the best liquors, spirits, and wines make you the go-to woman for getting tipsy.
  4. Creating the music playlist—your mixes of old-school tunes, indie bands, and mainstream pop never fail to get people in an adventurous mood.
8 .) What's the first thing you do when you reach an exotic destination?
  1. Get right on with the sightseeing! You don't want to waste any minute of your vacation.
  2. Collapse onto your cozy bed and take a nap. You need to recharge and refresh for the coming days.
  3. Ask your hotel concierge for tips on the hottest, most exclusive events and spots. You've done your research, of course, but it always pays to have insider information.
  4. Go for a long walk armed with your camera. You'll also make sure to approach and chat up locals to get a true feel of the place you're in.
9 .) What kind of cover-up would you throw on over your swimsuit?
  1. A spaghetti strap top and denim cutoffs
  2. An oversized buttondown shirt
  3. A printed boho-style kaftan
  4. A versatile sarong that can be styled in a number of ways
