So last week, I went to an ukay2x store in Cubao. Then, I found this really nice skinny black pair of D&G jeans. I thought, 'oh okay. This is fake'. Just to make sure, I checked the tag, the label, and the material. Just so you know I have an eye for original products. So, you can only imagine my surprise and utter happiness when I found out that it was an original D&G jeans! I bought it right away without any hesitations. And, it only cost me...wait for it...200 effing pesosesoses!!!!
It was my first time in Baguio and my first time going to an ukay - a 3 to 4 storey old building of different ukay stores inside. For more than 3 hours inside, I bought Uniqlo cardigans, Uniqlo Men's Jacket, denim skirts and shorts, jersey dresses, gym shorts and pants - all in very good condition and with tags pa and for only P10 to P50 price range! I swear, walang lagpas P50! Even though I walked out from it with runny nose and itchy feeling all over, it's all worth it.
Another proud moment was that recent Crocs Mega Sale sa NBC Tent, it was also my first time and I'm so happy sa mga finds ko. For P200 each, I was the most generous ninang and ate to my inaanak and lil pamangkin and cousins. The original price kasi is P1,850, hehe. Akala nila sosyal ko diba. Haha I bought a lot na para sa christmas and just incase mag-anak ulit sa binyag or may mag birthday. :)
the first one is a Rusty Lopez boots that i got at their boutique in Trinoma for half the prize--it's the last pair of its kind.
the second one is my Adidas bag that I am still using up to now.

Once the night strikes, people from all walks of life flock to different key areas in the city where I found a cool gray sweater to help me battle the air-conditioned offices.
A cool sweatshirt at P80?! What more can you ask?
I then realized that my Manila experience was definitely,by far, the best post-Christmas shopping for me.
My best bargain buy so far guys, you probably won't believe it, its a one peso long sleeved denim dress. Right in front of my house there is this Japan surplus store wherein they sell second hand items from appliances, furnitures, bikes, kitchenwares down to clothes. They had a problem selling stuffs siguro because the location of the store its not that accessible, they had a one day sale selling all their used clothes at one peso. I arrived mga around 5:45PM na coz I just came from work, daming tao kasi the store is going to close na at six. What I did is sumiksik na lang sa may gilid ng store at hinalungkat ko yung mga clothes around that area, looking for something na pwede ko pang magamit or maisuot, finally I found this faded blue denim jacket na masyadong mataas 'yung length, pwede siyang gawing dress, the brand name is FAR AND AWAY, not a famous brand though. I bought it without hesitation,a "ONE PESO" ukay find, ibang klase 'yung feeling, I've been to a lot of ukay-ukay stores here in Cebu but its the first in my entire life that I found something so nice and so cheap na parang bumili ka lang ng candy sa tindahan. I went home after that and since I'm good in sewing, I altered the jacket and make it sleeveless. So it becomes a sleeveless denim dress, I wore it first when me and my family went to the mall, my husband loves to capture pictures and when I happened to upload our pictures via Facebook my officemate keep on asking me where I bought my dress, I was hesitant at first, I was thinking who would believe me if I told them that's its only one peso. But then I told them na i bought it from an ukay-ukay store and it only cost one peso, they just couldn't believe it. I told them," Believe it or not guys". I want this to be an inspiration to others that you do not need to buy branded expensive stuff to feel good about yourselves, feeling good comes from within and a very good eye for fashion, in my case, a very good eye for a great ukay find. Up to now, I still love to wear this dress! Now top that girls!!!

the recent bargain was a steal at P699, it's a sling back wedge which is so comfy and stylish! winner :D
I feel like I'm a winner because it was genuine Gucci bag, although there are some defects already. It feels so nice to buy things that you really want for just small penny :D
I took my mom with me for that trip, as a Mother's Day treat for her :D
I had used it as my summer dress and suit coverup in our Baler outing last April. In formal events like attending a friend's wedding last June. And now as pregnancy dress work wear.
For summer, I wore it over a bikini top, shell necklace and flipflops. For formal events, I match with a strappy silver heels and matching jewelries for a sparkly evening. As for a pregnant, but chic office worker, I matched with a cami bra, pearl necklace and knitted bolero.
With the right accessories, shoes and ensemble mix, one piece can go a long way. Definitely SULIT! :)
I was at my favorite thrift store while waiting for my boyfriend and I only had 150 with me since I forgot to bring more cash. I found a pleated polka dotted skirt and the cream tulle dress but I only had enough cash for one of them and I didn't want to let go of either. Thank God the store owner saw this small stain (nothing that soap and water cannot remove) on the inner lining of the dress and so she gave it to me for free! Imagine my joy when I heard the word "free" so I quickly paid for the skirt and left the store before she could change her mind. Haha
