I love wedges not only because it's stylish but also it's very comfortable to wear in any inches. I bought a pair of wedge during a clearance sale at a mall. That's my best bargain buy so far!

My Dolce&Gabbana jeans! I'm a lover of bargain and ukay2x cuz they're super cheap!

So last week, I went to an ukay2x store in Cubao. Then, I found this really nice skinny black pair of D&G jeans. I thought, 'oh okay. This is fake'. Just to make sure, I checked the tag, the label, and the material. Just so you know I have an eye for original products. So, you can only imagine my surprise and utter happiness when I found out that it was an original D&G jeans! I bought it right away without any hesitations. And, it only cost me...wait for it...200 effing pesosesoses!!!!

We were window shopping around a nearby flea market when a store selling women's clothes and accessories captured my eye - specifically, their set of shoulder bags. I found this trendy dark brown bag that was big enough to fit a few baby clothes and milk bottles and even went well with most of my clothes since the color was quite neutral, but not too big to carry around the shoulders. They were selling me the bag initially for Php 600 but thanks to patient haggling, I was able to bring down the price to Php 400 AND it came with a free pair of native dangling earrings. It was both stylish and extremely useful - a bag I can bring around with me anywhere, anytime. What a deal indeed!

Since I was expecting a guest at my flat early this month, I decided to go to Dapitan Aracade to hunt for beautiful but affordable home decors. I saw some ceramic balls, which I thought would look perfect for my center table. Initially, I felt bad about buying these. From P50 each, only one vendor allowed to lower their price to P40. I was trying to get it for P35. I thought I failed. But then, I saw the exact same item at a department store, and they sell it for P199! What a steal!

A huge box (1000 individual packets) of Splenda that I got from an annual supermarket sale for 1/3 of the regular price. Most people go to this sale to hoard on imported beddings, chocolates, shampoo, etc. While I bought some of those as well, my box of Splenda was my greatest find. P1,115 for 1000 packets of Splenda that would normally cost me P3,950, which comes out to P1.15 per packet (down from P3.95) - now THAT IS value for money. It has also made it easy for me to cut regular sugar out from my diet. Bargains and diets do mix well together!

Since it's my first time to visit a European country during winter time last year, I decided to buy some boots in Manila to bring with me. I've checked the malls but to my dismay didn't find anything that made me interested. Either it's too expensive or it's just not my type. Being the bargain hunter that I am, I've decided to check an ukay2x shop in Quezon City. Since most of the items sold there are coming from cold countries, there might be good quality boots. I was searching the racks for the boots and I saw a brandnew Rockport knee-high leather boots that is on my size and is just perfect.I asked for the price and was surprised to find out it's only P200. I didn't bother to haggle anymore as it was so worth it.Until now it is still in very good condition and remains my favorite pair of boots,

What's your best ever bargain buy?

It was my first time in Baguio and my first time going to an ukay - a 3 to 4 storey old building of different ukay stores inside. For more than 3 hours inside, I bought Uniqlo cardigans, Uniqlo Men's Jacket, denim skirts and shorts, jersey dresses, gym shorts and pants - all in very good condition and with tags pa and for only P10 to P50 price range! I swear, walang lagpas P50! Even though I walked out from it with runny nose and itchy feeling all over, it's all worth it.

Another proud moment was that recent Crocs Mega Sale sa NBC Tent, it was also my first time and I'm so happy sa mga finds ko. For P200 each, I was the most generous ninang and ate to my inaanak and lil pamangkin and cousins. The original price kasi is P1,850, hehe. Akala nila sosyal ko diba. Haha I bought a lot na para sa christmas and just incase mag-anak ulit sa binyag or may mag birthday. :)

I am definitely a fan of Ukay-Ukay! More than 50% of my clothes are from these shops! I remembered when i went to ukay ukay in anonas near st joseph church, sakto na sale buong building, some have P50 each but hey! all are in good condition! Stretched talaga P1k ko! I got 2 big plastic bags (yung binebenta sa divisoria na may red stripes) that includes jackets, skirts, pants, and shirts. I always have compliments wearing my great finds and nagugulat sila na sa ukay-ukay ko lang nabili! May nabili din ako sa nearby ukay shop sa amin na bossini jacket cost less than P150! may tag pa! Grabe, winner talaga Ukay-Ukay!

I bought a very classy brown long sleeved bubble dress on an ukay ukay store near MRT Quezon Ave Station 2 years ago (exact date was July 7, 2009) for only Php35. :) This dress can be worn at a wedding, dinner with family, hanging out. It's very versatile. Quality is very good since I almost wore the dress for more than 30 times. Just put on a different accessories and VOILA! New look :)

my best bargain find ever was a native lamp that we bought in divisoria night market. we bought the lamp as gifts to our principal sponsor for our upcoming wedding this december and we only paid 100per piece. when we saw it at the mall it costs 450! what a great find since we are on a tight budget on our wedding prep, and it does not look cheap!

I've been looking for a khaki blazer for the longest time - something that is professional and classic enough to wear at the office but something that would look hip and casual for weekend wear. During the crazy Oct 14-16 sale weekend, I chanced upon a light khaki blazer from Dorothy Perkins. The fit, material and color was perfect for me. It also was the last item with the size. I got it for 50% off...but since it had a slight slight lipstick smudge on the sleeve, they added an additional 10% off from the sale price. I didn't mind because the stain can easily be removed. Also, I didn't have to pay for transpo or parking because my condo is just right in front of the mall. Total cash I shelled out was 1,685.25 from 3,745. For me, that's a good bargain considering the effort from my end, travel time (none), the brand, and quality.

My best bargain buy is definitely the ones from ukay-ukay. I am a college student,so my budget is very tight but this doesn't mean that I can't look for good fashion finds in a low budget. Every once in a while I visit my favorite ukay-ukay stores near our place, and believe it or not, I bought some shirts, jeans and skirts for only P10.00 each! Then there's an ukay store who sells shoes for only P75.00. It's not even simple shoes, actually it's heels and pumps. These clothes and shoes still look great, who can tell that I bought it from ukay store? I always have compliments whenever I wear clothes from ukay. And to tell you frankly,I am proud of myself that I am able to pull it off. Now that's a good steal right? I have an eye for good finds in ukay-ukay so I enjoy going there all the time, and I enjoy to mix and match outfits. So it's definitely ukay-ukay are the best place to find the best bargain items.

My best ever bargain buys (top 2! I just had to include #2): (1) My black blazer from a thrift store near DSLU Taft -- P100, perfect cut, excellent condition, and I've used it over 50 times already since late last year. From job interviews to incorporating it to chic work outfits, I so love my cheap investment.; (2) a P12 colorful cosmetic pouch which I have been using since late 2009. Bought from eBay.ph. So worth the P50 shipping fee. :D Soooo sooo worth it.

My best ever bargain buy was just last January. I was in Manila riding the MRT when I saw this huge billboard about Plains and Prints having 50% off on all of their items. I just had to drop by to their stores asap knowing I have to go back to Cebu at 6pm the same day. I actually bought a total of 10,000php worth of clothes in 3 different stores which supposedly cost 20,000php all in all. I was so thrilled since I was able to buy the dress that i wanted to wear for my graduation :) When i got back to Cebu, I visited Plains and Prints but they only gave 10-30% off on selected items.

I then realized that my Manila experience was definitely,by far, the best post-Christmas shopping for me.

My best bargain buy is my 20 pesos chinese-theme blouse I bought in an Ukay2x store here at Makati. LOL~ I first wore it at my college and most of my friends said that it is a cool outfit. It is now my favorite blouse and the most popular one. It looks kind formal but there is this rockstar feel on it. They were shocked when I told them that I bought it for only 20 php. Aside from this blouse, I also bought a one-piece dress, 2 black sando and a korean jacket and payed 100 php for all. UkayX2 stores are good for those who are looking for unique shirts but always check all-though-out and check wash it well before using. You can see by shirt here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=292906310720609&set=a.156048974406344.32698.100000037276334&type=3&theater. ^^

I am a fan of ukay-ukay eversince, I really love the high when you found a specific item and when you looked at the price, WOW!! and since I am a mother of two its really impractical for me to buy branded stuffs, i'd rather buy something for my daughters na lang.

My best bargain buy so far guys, you probably won't believe it, its a one peso long sleeved denim dress. Right in front of my house there is this Japan surplus store wherein they sell second hand items from appliances, furnitures, bikes, kitchenwares down to clothes. They had a problem selling stuffs siguro because the location of the store its not that accessible, they had a one day sale selling all their used clothes at one peso. I arrived mga around 5:45PM na coz I just came from work, daming tao kasi the store is going to close na at six. What I did is sumiksik na lang sa may gilid ng store at hinalungkat ko yung mga clothes around that area, looking for something na pwede ko pang magamit or maisuot, finally I found this faded blue denim jacket na masyadong mataas 'yung length, pwede siyang gawing dress, the brand name is FAR AND AWAY, not a famous brand though. I bought it without hesitation,a "ONE PESO" ukay find, ibang klase 'yung feeling, I've been to a lot of ukay-ukay stores here in Cebu but its the first in my entire life that I found something so nice and so cheap na parang bumili ka lang ng candy sa tindahan. I went home after that and since I'm good in sewing, I altered the jacket and make it sleeveless. So it becomes a sleeveless denim dress, I wore it first when me and my family went to the mall, my husband loves to capture pictures and when I happened to upload our pictures via Facebook my officemate keep on asking me where I bought my dress, I was hesitant at first, I was thinking who would believe me if I told them that's its only one peso. But then I told them na i bought it from an ukay-ukay store and it only cost one peso, they just couldn't believe it. I told them," Believe it or not guys". I want this to be an inspiration to others that you do not need to buy branded expensive stuff to feel good about yourselves, feeling good comes from within and a very good eye for fashion, in my case, a very good eye for a great ukay find. Up to now, I still love to wear this dress! Now top that girls!!!

My best bargain buy was, during a bazaar. I went there with only 1500 money left in my wallet. I want to take home the super pretty bag since my daughter love bags, but it cost 1250. I know, Its too costly so I am thinking if I should still get it. But, I did not lose my fighting spirit so I haggle up and I got it for only 800 pesos, and they gave me a mustache ring that cost hundred bucks! I gave the bag to my daughter and she loved it so much! Why buy expensive ones, when you can settle for something less? Be practical mom, just like me! Trust your charm ladies!! :)

my best ever bargain buy was my LV azure canvas bag.. i got it from a garage sale in one of the subdivisions in Marikina.. I just went there to visit a friend.. while i was in the tricycle i saw a garage with lotsa old and new stuffs.. i thought they're moving away.. when i saw a small sign "Garage Bargain"i dropped by.. Thought i could find anything to buy when the owner came to have a small talk with me.. ;) so nice of her.. :) and then she offers me a slightly used branded shoes, clothes, make up and accessories.. i asked then why they we're having a garage sale.. she told me they will be migrating and no one will be left in the house and they need additional money for their trip.. she offer me this authentic LV azure canvas bag which had been used for occasions only..she was selling it for 3500php.. to bad i got 1100php only on my wallet that time.. and i was a bit shock when she asked if i still have money for fare if she get the 1000php.. i said because thats the only money left in my wallet so she gave it to me for only 800php.. ;) felt so lucky that day to win a friend and to have a original LV azure canvas bag.. ;)

My best ever bargain buy is getting six cute blouses for only 240 pesos! I found a secret place of bargains in the metro - and no, I'm not talking about greenhills, baclaran or divi. I call this store my "secret place." They've got stores that sell clothes at very cheap prices! And the quality of these clothes is also good because the clothes are straight from the tailors themselves. Talk about getting items from the source!

And by the way, the blouses I got look just like that one above (what the girl in the photo is wearing).

I'm never a fan of branded clothes, I just buy and wear whatever looks nice and good on me. One time I was window shopping, there's this pile of branded clothing line that I was hesitant to check out because I know they're still expensive even though they're already on sale. When I picked this one dress, my jaw almost dropped when I saw the Php150 tag on it. It's too good to be true so I checked if there are damages or what else on it but it's in a very good condition! I hurried to the cashier to buy it haha. :)

My best bargain so far is my Dell Laptop. I bought it in Megamall's 3 day sale. It was really cheap for a Dell brand plus the shop gave me lots of freebies. :-)

My Gucci backpack, for me, is my best ever bargain buy! I bought it last month and yes, for a very low price. The saleslady on a bargain shop priced the bag for 1500Php. Then I wasn't really going to buy the bag, but then when I told her to give it to me for 1000Php, she didn't hesitate, she sold it to me! :)

I feel like I'm a winner because it was genuine Gucci bag, although there are some defects already. It feels so nice to buy things that you really want for just small penny :D

i think my best bargain buy would be a roundtrip local airfare for two people, for only P98 round trip!

I took my mom with me for that trip, as a Mother's Day treat for her :D

My oversize sweater! I bought it from an online shop at multiply! At first the price was around 1200 pesos, that's why I didn't buy it. Luckily, after a week or two; that online shop had a SALE! The prices are really way cheaper!! Finally I was able to buy that oversize sweater that I love for only around 450 pesos! Made me happy PLUS feels smart for not buying it at first :D

I think my best bargain buy would have to be the cute pleated skirt I got from an ukay shop along Katipunan! It only cost me 50 pesos and I got probably around 20-30 wears out of it at school and eventually in the office, until I had to say good bye because I couldn't fit in it anymore. Can you imagine? The skirt practically costs me 2 pesos each time I wear it. Truly a bargain.

I was doing some early Christmas shopping last weekend at Divisoria and chanced upon a street vendor selling shades for 35 pesos! I saw this super cute brown aviators and immediately fell in love with them! They look so nice that my friends would guess its price range from 500-3000 pesos! I would of course, confess that it costs only half of what you would pay for a cup of milk tea, to their surprise. Now they keep on badgering me to go with them to Divisoria and look for that vendor so they can score a great bargain, too!

Last year, I bought on impulse a blue halter maxi jersey dress designed as a beach cover-up. I bought it right away because it looks so good for only P700. It turns out, it's one of my SULIT buy ever.

I had used it as my summer dress and suit coverup in our Baler outing last April. In formal events like attending a friend's wedding last June. And now as pregnancy dress work wear.

For summer, I wore it over a bikini top, shell necklace and flipflops. For formal events, I match with a strappy silver heels and matching jewelries for a sparkly evening. As for a pregnant, but chic office worker, I matched with a cami bra, pearl necklace and knitted bolero.

With the right accessories, shoes and ensemble mix, one piece can go a long way. Definitely SULIT! :)

Oooh I have so many bargain buys since I love to go thrift shopping but my favorite would have to be this cream twofer dress made of tulle and lace that looks like it came from the racks of Topshop. I got the dress for FREE! And it's in perfect condition, I think it's new since it didn't look used or worn out.

I was at my favorite thrift store while waiting for my boyfriend and I only had 150 with me since I forgot to bring more cash. I found a pleated polka dotted skirt and the cream tulle dress but I only had enough cash for one of them and I didn't want to let go of either. Thank God the store owner saw this small stain (nothing that soap and water cannot remove) on the inner lining of the dress and so she gave it to me for free! Imagine my joy when I heard the word "free" so I quickly paid for the skirt and left the store before she could change her mind. Haha
