When the weather gets uncomfortably warm, it's almost second nature for us to don our breeziest pieces for whatever events and tasks we have lined up for the day. Unfortunately, said breezy pieces are sometimes in the form of paper-thin t-shirts and tatty shorts—comfy and cool, yes, but not exactly sartorially savvy. But with temperatures rising and sweat threatening to dampen our favorite pieces, what's a girl to do?
Our answer? Pay close attention to details. When devising outfits, keep in mind where you'll be going, what you'll be doing, and—most importantly—whether there will be air-conditioning wherever you're headed to. As silly as it sounds, that little fact can actually allow you to be more experimental and trendy without having to sacrifice style in order to stay cool.
