Layers, moody hues, and a balance between structure and slouch characterized hip label Oxygen's Holiday 2012 line-up. Models with sooty eye makeup and messily piled hair strutted down the runway in an effortless mix of languid buttondowns, oversized blazers, bodycon skirts, and flowing skirts and dresses—all grounded by lustworthy pairs of platform shoes. And while there was something very easy and carefree about the silhouettes, it was evident that tailoring and fit were also of importance, allowing the separates to work double-duty as officewear and as options for nighttime revelries.
As far as local labels go, Oxgen is still relatively under the radar. But, judging by its latest collection, insiders may just find themselves competing with more and more fashionistas for Oxygen's covetable designs. Then again, what's not to love?
