When we want to learn new beauty tips and tricks, we turn to glossy magazines or our favorite female-oriented websites and blogs. Select fashion-inspired shows on cable TV aside, the rest of the local-TV-viewing population only occasionally get their beauty dose from local free TV. Q Channel 11 will try to change that with their upcoming magazine show, Fashionistas by Heart, which premieres on February 28, Saturday, 7PM. One of its hosts is 17-year-old Schinina Juban, who emerged the winner in another Q-11 reality show, The Debutante. A freshman Communication Arts student at De La Salle University, Schinina is exposed to the best of beauty and fashion, as their family travels a lot since her father is a Hollywood producer.
“I’m naturally kikay but my main thing is really fashion. I’m into clothes and most especially bags and shoes. I don’t wear too much makeup, but I am all for skin care,” shares the sweet-faced host.
Given that she will be hosting the beauty segment of Fashionistas by Heart, FemaleNetwork grilled Schinina on her beauty essentials and tips, and a little bit of her first love, fashion, on the next page.
