Makeup that multitasks

Dec 7, 2008 by FN Blogger Kissa CastaƱeda

stila_makeup.jpgRemember how popular The Body Shop's lip and cheek tint was when it first came out? It gave us value for money and the convenience of having blush and lip color in one sleek stick.

You can't go wrong with practical products that take into consideration the size of a woman's kikay bag and her on-the-go lifestyle. If you don't have the luxury of time to pile on cosmetics, try these products made for the multitasking woman.

1. Stila Convertible Eye Color
Eyeliner, check. Eye shadow, check. Applicator, check. This Stila stick has everything you need to create perfect color-coordinated eye makeup. Just line, dab the powder shadow, and blend with Stila's soft sponge smudger. You'll have that smoky eye done in 5min. flat.

2. L'Oreal Paris Volume Shocking Mascara
If you find curling and applying base coat a hassle, then this mascara is for you. While beauty editors might disagree, you can skip curling your lashes as this mascara triples thickness. So you're down to two steps: applying base coat then mascara itself. Luckily, this product has both wands in one package.

3. YSL Lip Twins (Lip Duo)
Layering is always chic, be it in fashion or even lip color. YSL makes it easy to do with Lip Twins—a product that has smooth lipstick on one side and a shiny gloss to top it on the other, both in one elegant package. You need not fret about mixing and matching as YSL has created 12 color combinations to choose from. Apart from integrating tint and gloss, it comes with a handy mirror and brush. Achieving Angie Jolie lips can't be easier than this.
