If you're fortunate enough to indulge in a long vacation abroad this year, you know packing will be extremely difficult. It's not enough that you have to contest with your airline's baggage restrictions. No, you also have to figure in factors like moving around quite a bit, the need for extra space in your luggage for souvenirs and mementos, or your husband orders not to bring anything unnecessary. If only you could have a bottomless bag like Mary Poppins! But since you don't, what's a girl to do?
When packing for any trip, it always pays to plan. List all the activities you intend to do and pick out clothes that can do double duty. Opt for neutrals as your main pieces so that everything goes with everything. Darker shades camouflage minor wrinkles and dirt, which are inevitable when traveling.
