If our fashion fairy godmother ever decided to show herself to us, we would immediately wish for a wardrobe filled to bursting with dreamy duds and accessories. Until then, we'll be stalking The Ramp Crossings stores all over the metro, waiting for their latest collection to drop. We may still be caught up in the pastels, florals, and lightness of summer dressing, but, come the -ber months, these are the kinds of designs we—and you—will be wanting to wear.
Each look was a play on soft and hard elements, with leather panels combining with sheer fabrics, tough obi belts cinching peplums, and angular cuts mixing with feminine silhouettes. Prints and textures also came out to play, with paisley and zebra patterns enlivening jackets, tops, and skirts; and jacquard and feathers lending a tactile element to select pieces. The Ramp has always had a finger on the pulse of fashion, and Holiday 2012 was no exception.
