It's a fact. A tube of lipstick can cost you thousands of pesos, so it's only wise for you to maximize its cost-per-wear (yes, it's applicable with makeup, too!). Here, we tell you ways to make the most of the shade most girls own: red lipstick. Apart from granting us vixen pouts, these are its other uses:

1. As a blush

Obviously, your fiery tube can grant the best just-got-out-of-the-gym flush on your cheeks. You just need a tiny bit (overdoing it can take you to Clownsville) on your apples, and then simply blend it with your fingers.

2. As a base or top coat intensify other lipsticks
There are days when you want to add rosiness to a nude lipstick, or those times when you want to add more edge to your pink pout. Putting on a thin layer of red lipstick over or underneath the mentioned muted lipstick colors will reinvent them. Plus, you get to own an extra shade of lippie without spending a peso!

3. As an ingredient create your own tinted lip balm.
This tip is perfect for gals who can't get enough of your fave red bullet that you want to spawn its spin-offs: Transform it into a tinted lip balm. Mix it with shea butter in small pot, and pop it on the microwave for a few seconds. This way, you can still wear your fave carmine shade even on laid-back days!

4.  As a tattoo color corrector
The color red can cancel out the dark ink of tattoos. To camouflage your inked skin, smear a thin layer of red lipstick on the tattoo, apply a cool-toned concealer, then top it with a concealer that matches your skin tone, and finally set the area with loose translucent powder.
