Angel Locsin Prettifies for Avon + Beauty Tips from Makeup Artist Lala Flores

For years now, Angel Locsin’s face has been a regular sight in film and television, on magazine covers, and on billboards over nationwide thoroughfares. Now, the young actress gives you another reason to marvel at her mug: once again, she’s the face of Avon!

This year, the primetime princess returns as the ambassador for Avon Color Philippines—and who better to paint her face for the campaign than celebrity makeup artist and acting Avon Color Creative Consultant Lara Flores?

Lala’s no stranger to the limelight—she competed in the 1990 Ford Supermodel of the World International Finals, and just last month, her daughter Danica nabbed the 2011 title. Now, the former model’s skill as a makeup artist is a hot commodity in both the fashion industry and showbiz—which, in short, puts Angel in good hands.

In addition to doing Angel’s makeup, Lala also had a few essential beauty tips for cosmetic fanatics. “Women should have at least a basic kit for makeup that contains the following: foundation, powder, mascara, neutral or nude brown eyeshadow, black or dark brown eyeliner, blush powder, lipstick, conditioning lip balm, and lipgloss,” she shared. “But with the different lifestyles that women have, there are appropriate looks and makeup items one should have based on various day-to-day situations.”

Below, you’ll find three signature Avon looks that Lala created for Angel. Find out which products you need to get these looks yourself!

i think avon is especially suitable for asian skin, its nice that a lot of shade of make up still looks good for her. would that also apply to common pinays as well? hope so.

what about any make up application tips from avon as well?
