1. Pick lip color that suits your skin tone. Not all lipstick shades look good on everyone. Orange, coral, and brown shades look good on few women, as they tend to make teeth look yellowish.
2. Line your puckers with a lip liner or brow pencil. It makes your lipstick or lip gloss last longer, as it prevents color bleeding and gives gloss something to stick to. Just be sure it is not in a darker shade than your lip color.
3. Never use a lipstick tester directly on your lips. It's unhygienic. Try lipstick on your fingertips instead, since they’re closer to the skin on your lips than skin on the back of your hand.
4. To make your lips look plump, apply liner just outside your natural lip line then apply some gloss in the middle of your lower lip.
