What's your super mom personality?

Find out which personality matches your unique parenting style by taking this quiz! By Myra Mortega-Calulo

momParenting can be difficult--there are a lot of things to multitask, schedules to follow, and booboos to comfort. It's a minor miracle that moms still manage to stay on top of things despite how stressful things can get. There's no doubt that moms are superheroes in themselves--they never get tired of giving so much of themselves to their families every single day. What’s more awesome is that every super mom has a unique parenting style of her own. What about you? Are you a savvy, adventurous, or creative mom? Take this quiz to find out!

1 .) School’s out! What activities have you planned for your kids for the summer?
  1. I signed them up for theater classes in the morning and a karate workshop in the afternoon.
  2. We’re going to several provinces, and we plan to go camping.
  3. Nothing. I just want my kids to enjoy their summer break in any way they want.
2 .) You’re thinking of spending a week abroad with your family. Where’s your ideal travel destination?
  1. Singapore--they shouldn’t miss out on the museums there.
  2. Malaysia--they’ll have loads of fun trying out all the rides in Genting Island.
  3. South Korea--for all the picturesque locations in the koreanovelas they watch.
3 .) It's your kid’s birthday! What are you planning to do for the party?
  1. Invite Mad Science to perform cool experiments for the kids
  2. Have the kids go on a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood
  3. Set up several arts and crafts booths for the kids to try
4 .) It’s a rainy Saturday morning, and your kids are bored. What do you do to keep them occupied?
  1. Play board games together--it’s been a while since we had a game of Scrabble or Monopoly.
  2. Cook up a great dinner--they’ll have lots of fun preparing their own food, plus they'll get to learn about and experiment with ingredients.
  3. Have them play outside in the rain--it was one of my favorite things to do as a child, and I know they'll love it too.
5 .) It’s time for a bedtime story! Which read is your all-time favorite?
  1. A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh
  2. J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan
  3. Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland
6 .) You’re preparing your kid’s baon. What’s in his lunch box?
  1. Rice, meat, vegetables, and fruit for dessert
  2. Two clubhouse sandwiches and a small bag of potato chips
  3. Meat and vegetables cut into fun shapes
7 .) Your child is scheduled for a trip to the dentist. How do you make it less scary for him?
  1. Explain that dentists are cool because they take away all the bad stuff in our teeth
  2. Give him his fill of chocolate for the day--his teeth will get cleaned anyway
  3. Promise him a trip to the mall--where he can buy one thing from his favorite store--right after the appointment
8 .) Your kid refuses to go to the neighborhood playground because he’s afraid of bullies. What do you do?
  1. Accompany him and give the bullies a good talking to--that will teach them not to mess with my child
  2. Ask him to stand up to the bullies the next time they pick on him
  3. Enroll him in self-defense classes, so he can gain confidence and learn how to defend himself if need be
9 .) You’re at the mall, and your child asks you to buy a toy that’s beyond the constraints of your budget. What do you do?
  1. Patiently explain to him that this costs more than I'm willing to pay for a toy, but offer to treat him to ice cream or a trip to the arcade instead
  2. Have him hang out in the toy store for a while--hopefully, by the time we have to go, he'll have forgotten about the toy he wanted originally
  3. Give him a budget, and advise him that if he wants something that costs more than that, he'll have to agree to pay it back through allowance cuts and odd jobs
10 .) You’re away from home on a business trip. Which of these would be a good pasalubong for your child?
  1. A fun children’s novel involving sword and sorcery
  2. A Frisbee or a toy or model you can build together
  3. A jewelry-making set, complete with charms, studs, and more
