Tide Celebrates Long-lasting Love with the "Tide with Downy Bangong Padala" Promo

Tide brings us three inspiring stories of couples who manage to stay strong despite being separated from their families.

For us Pinoys, the family comes first. That's why we never get tired of heartwarming stories of husbands and wives who endure working in distant places to become better providers, even at the cost of leaving their families behind.

We also know that nothing beats being homesick—even a simple scent can bring fond memories of our families back home. A particular fragrance can make us recall our mother’s devotion to the entire family, from making sure that we always have hearty meals to ensuring our clothes are always soft and clean.

Just like the devoted Pinoy parent, Tide has the family’s best interests in mind. Clothes washed with Tide with Downy remain fresh for up to seven days, so no matter how far and long the journey of the washed clothes are, they remain fresh with the freshness of Tide with Downy.

Tide with Downy also understands the plight of countless parents separated from their loved ones. With the “Tide with Downy Bangong Padala” promo, Tide with Downy was able to provide a way to reach out to couples separated by distance and to refresh their love for each other. The promo invited countless Pinoys to share their special long-distance love stories. Out of all the entries, the top 100 were selected, and these participants were given the chance to send the Tide with Downy Bangong Padala package to send a package to their loved ones, either domestically or overseas.

Out of the many entries, Tide chose three stories that stood out. Travel blogger and tourism consultant Ivan Henares personally delivered three Bangong Padala packages to the homes of the top three participants. His journey took him to various parts of the country, bringing us three inspiring stories of love. Watch the video entitled “Pag-ibig na Pangmatagalan” to learn more about the top three entries, and scroll through the gallery to get to know more about the stories of couples whose love withstood the test of time and distance.
